As you described your practice, It sounded to me like you’re doing many things right.

Keep in mind the part of our conversation about "practicing with a purpose." I suggested not focusing so much on the outcomes of your dice during practice, but instead, working on just one specific aspect of your grip, swing mechanics, targeting, etc., during each practice session.
