Different Casino Tactics

Spread the love

Was recently at one of my frequent watering holes looking to take a big gulp. A new ploy was introduced to restrict shooters (dice controllers), so it seemed. The stick person would hold the stick in an upright position arm bent at the elbow slightly extended. The table captain would scold the shooter if they reached over the center line. This does hinder the follow through for SR1 & SL1 and also interferes with the throwing line for SR2 & SL2.

This appears to be in retaliation to the recent plundering we did to the HSM Bounty-ful about 6 weeks back. It seems to be targeted toward a few of the Team members that were present for the EPIC roll Hard Way Joe had. Even though I was not the thrower at that event I was at SR1 and way one of the top winners at the table. As new tables opened I would move to a new one. One of the suits seemed to follow and instruct the crew on the side to enforce the "regulation". The table captain would say "they’re only the messenger and enforcing what the rules are".

From SR1 my only target was into the far hook (mixing bowl) diagonal from SR1. I prompted the crew there would be no tipping/bets for them based on the restrictive "rules". I guess hitting the pyramids is not sufficient of an edge for the house. Now they are devising new conditions.

Has this happened to any of you? What do you do about it?

Scooter

There are many reasons they do this, personally I was made to back up too stick r3 one time on a 14 foot table the box man was going crazy I just kept throwing numbers, me and my partner thought he was going to explode.

1 stealing if your hand is going past the stick you can take the change they keep in front of ;them as it returns to you.

Two your hand might be coming up into there face that is very bad.

Three they do not want you there.

Never take it out on the crew it is the house making them do it or that particular box man.

I am a vary quiet person so some times get to hear things that others don’t .
Like dealers talking about box critters and other players for one thing . It seems that lots of dealers don’t agree with how some box critters treat some of the players .
I some times will not play at a table if the box critter is one that I had trouble with .Just play when they are not there .
I had one stick person waving the stick so much that he hit me in the head with it .That is hard to do since I am only 5ft. 5 in. tall .
I thought about falling down but instead said that I lived 2,000 miles away so it would be hard for me to get a hard hat .The box person then told stick to settle down and stop it with the stick .LOL

There is a casino in AC in which some of the superviosors tend to enforce this rule. It came about because a shooter hit a stick lady in the boobs several years ago.

Goddess — yes, I know of that place & I got heat about my hand many times. Instead of fighting it and arguing, I just moved to SR-1.5 to almost SR-2 and amazingly, I found my sweet spot and back in late October 2013, hit them with a 65-roll

I think conditions have "changed" there recently and it’s no longer on my list of places to play at in AC

Goddess Do you think they made a rule after I left about the stick person since they hit me in the head . 🙂 🙂 🙂 I think it is a one way street when rules come into affect with casinos .
The dice can hurt but the stick can too.Lucky that it was the top of my head and not an eye .
Hope you have a great trip next time .
Love your trip posts .
