🙁 The casino won. I’ll leave it at that. My shot was on point but the dice would give me ace deuce, or seven. I would hit the same numbers on just about every roll. The dice where different this time. They where light acrylic dice and bouncer. But, I did witness something truly amazing today. I walked up to a table which was reserved. The casino had 1/2 the table on LS side reserved. A young man shows up about three minutes later and begins an all out assault on the casino while playing the Don’t and Don’t Come. Most of the time he would be up on just about every number with Orange Chips and then he would hit a seven. I’ve never, ever, witnessed a blow to the casino as I just witnessed. He wanted me to play the Don’t and Don’t Come with him. I couldn’t bring myself to play that way. He was tipping the crew a thousand dollars each time he won. It was just me and him at the table. He won about twenty thousand dollars in about ten minutes of play. He was still winning after I left the table and I began to play on another table. I have never seen so much money on a craps table. This guy was really good. He would go up on the seven and usually hit it within 2 or 3 tosses after he loaded up the bases. Crazy Day! I am retiring from craps. I will only practice shooting for the next few months. I’m really upset and down. 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 😥 😥 😥 😥 😥

Dom talks about being the General at the table and that is exactly how you should look at it. You are in a war with the casino and it is your job to take control. The sooner you learn to block out and ignore what is happening around you the better off you will be.
I was once at a table where a guy made a lot of money off Dom, Frank and me. I later found out he was down about $100K and ended up winning $250K. That means he made $350K on our 3 hands. He made $60K alone on 4 hard ways that I threw on my turn. I did not collect any hard way bets because that is not the way I was betting that hand. I was very happy with what I made because we had 3 very good hands in a row, back to back to back. I was the last one to shoot and if I had paid attention to what this whale was doing, I may not have had as good a roll as I did. I made a decent amount for me, consistent with how I bet and what my tolerance is for risk. It does me no good to fantasize about how much this other guy made because I am never going to put out the kind of money he did to begin with so it does not matter to me in the least. All I can control is what I am betting and how I am shooting. Everything else is out of my control so it does no good to think about it.
