Besides the physical toss, I imagine my toss in my mind whenever I get the opportunity. I have read that is a favored technique recommended by sports psychologists. I believe that it has helped me in the ten years since I took the GTC course.

Muscle memory and visualization are SO IMPORTANT in being successful in that game — craps is no different

I taught a Gold Medalist in rifle shooting and he told me that they would practice without shooting. They would hold their hands up as if they were holding their rifle and visualize hitting the bull’s eye.
Another very important thing that he told me that I use all the time is saying to themselves "good shot" when ever they scored a point. when I throw the dice and don’t throw a 7 I say to myself "good shot" because that is what we are trying to do … avoid the 7!
