Trip Report Vegas2/2 to 2/8

Spread the love

Hopefully kingfisher will post the actual numbers when he gets back from Vegas.

Several mornings shot at a place on Paradise Rd. That is close to where I stay at regularly in Vegas especially when attending class.

From home practice my outside die wobble moved to the inside die. Sorry NFF and Billy the Kid. But it is almost impossible to solve that problem. I seem to do best if I don’t throw for several days and then practice a few days. The first couple of days things look VERY GOOD, but then goes down hill. Have changed my practice time to late at night before bed to shortly after I get home from working – seems to help – not very stiff.

This table is EMPTY this time of the morning, the dealers are bored and are glad to have something to do, especially since they are getting some tips.

Three mornings from SL1 on their 12′ table with microfiber and very little bounce.
Nothing great with small loses each day after either 3 or 4 turns.

Meet up with Kingfisher and Claudia Friday am at a great named drink casino. They had SL1&2 so I stood and watched while SR1 was available.

Finally (like in spare time in Memphis) I went to SR1 to throw. 24 numbers and then the seven. All good numbers and five points to the fire bet.

Waited to get the dice again, and threw 3 different points before the seven. Several bad numbers as I felt tired.

Found out later they don’t mind if you sit on a stool while waiting. Next time will use that to my favor!

Later shot downtown SL1 – poorly with same problem.

Kind of looks like I should practice more from SR1.

Jim

I think I was at the same place you were at about the same time. I really like the crews there. I mostly played in the early morning when tables were practically empty, except for the drunks from the night before.

Hope you did well!
