Weather permitting, my husband and I are going to Foxwoods next Wed. We plan on being there around 8-9 a.m. Anyone else going that day? Would love to meet up. Planning on A.C. in March, too. Tom and I both took blackjack a while back, and my first craps training was in Tunica in 2003. It’s been awhile, but I’m looking forward to getting back into it hopefully in a big way. Send me an email!

Oops, just saw your reply — thanks! Well weather wasn’t permitting but we’ll try again. We’re off to a cruise to the Caribbean on Sunday and then onto A.C. for GTC primer (again). We’ll keep trying for a get-together.

The cruise, Royal Caribbean, was a lot of fun. We went from New Jersey to the Caribbean. The ocean waves weren’t bad enough to make a difference to our throws. Tables were $5 minimum with single odds. The table surface was fine until the suits noticed my husband’s and my throws. The next day the table surface was changed from felt to a very spongy material — so bouncy that the dice kept bouncing off the tables. Despite the conditions, we did the 5-count, bet conservatively, and still won money. A crazy crapper player told us later that after he stopped playing and was watching us play, he learned a lot from us about playing just the box numbers. Also, my husband, who has never taken a GTC craps course, did even better than me with a 40-minute roll.
And yeah, we ate a lot. 😀
See you in Atlantic City!
