Well, I read a lot of post, so I figured I would post one myself today …

My BADS:
Now, I know that I am still a newbie to this, and I know all the bad things that I am doing, and more so not doing like I should. I don’t employee the 5 count as much as I should, maybe only 20% of the time. I don’t employee the 25% of my wagering on other shooters. I don’t use come bets on myself often enough. I don’t set a dollar amount to be ahead, so if & when I get there to know to walk away. I don’t set a time limit, to be there and walk away. I don’t use my practice rig on a daily basis (I can blame it on work & the holidays, but I know I can find the time if I put my mind to it). But I do try and use the gripper, to get the feel of the dice on a daily basis.

MINI Trip Report:
Now this weekend, I did go visit a place. As I’ve stated, I haven’t practiced like I should. I believe that my forward movement is too fast, as I’m throwing too hard, as the dice travel too far. So, I was shooting from straight out, instead of being stick left 1 or 2. First time I got the dice, I only threw a 3 or 4.

The second time, I’m guessing I was around 11 with 1 point being made and about six times on a number I didn’t have a bet on, I’m more hesitant to do the come bets.

The third roll of the dice I hit 3 points, and the small/all/tall bet. The last number I needed, I ended up hitting it for point, and then right back again. So, for the come out, I actually changed my set from hardways, to the all 7’s. And to my enjoyment, hit that rascally number so the 3 of us on the small/all/tall could get paid, and see if I could get them again. But allas, I only hit 3 more numbers before it showed its face again. Being that the people I play with generally are not GTC members, none were counting, and neither was I.

So, for my 4th time with the dice, I decided to try and count myself. Again, another great roll for me, a 28 is what I counted. Think I got 4 points out of it. The only money downside was that I was hitting alot of the numbers that I wasn’t on. That, and during that roll, I think I only rolled a horn number once, as I didn’t hit any of the small/all/tall. I did have a 5th roll, but it was point number out, and so was I.

All in all, I did have some great shots and 3 nice rolls, but time to fix my bads, and employee more of the items that would be saving me money, so when I have my good rolls, I can walk away with their money, and not just donating!!!
