What are some of the dumb embarrassing things you have done in the casino? I know we all have some. I will start with a couple of items.
Once, many years ago long before GTC, I was playing a little blackjack late at night. I was dealt an ace/8 for a total of 19. I knew basic strategy by heart but hit the total of 19 and drew a 7 for a total of 16. The dealer had a potentially hard hand with a 5 up. The dealer drew a 3 and beat everybody at the table. As the dealer, an older oriental lady, was turning ovet the cards she said " Why you hit 19. You Stupid." I looked at her and said "you’re right. I am tired "(I was) and went to bed.
The other item happened about 18 months ago at a craps table. I was rolling, on about the 4th or 5th roll, when I saw a 7 come up. I stormed off and headed to the men’s room. As I was "standing there" the phone rang and it was Alligator Rose. Said " where are you." I replied "I am in the bathroom." She said "why did you leave the table." I said I had a 7 out." In her usual voice she uses when I do something stupid. She said " no, you didn’t. You rolled a 6." I hurried back to the table for a couple of more rolls before the old 7 appeared. Talked about embarrassed.
Hope others can add to this as it might be a lot of fun.

up his chips and head to a blackjack table, and as he left the dealer would say. Sir your come bet, he
couldn’t hear the dealer so I would tell the dealer that "I will give them to him" . Twenty dollars every time
he left was very profitable.

While at a table a RR shot the dice. One landed flat about 2 inches from the back wall. The other went up and came down directly on the other dice. There was a 5 on the top die. But you could not see the upper face of the bottom die.
The table stopped for a moment. No one seemed sure what to do. Some players were calling for it to be a roll. I was trying to figure out what was on the hidden top. There was a 1-4 facing me on the bottom die. It could have been either a 2 or a 5, I could not be sure. I wanted it to be a no roll.
That is what the box called. No roll. I still am not sure what it was because of the way the stickman quickly pulled the dice when the box called a no roll. I only wished I had thought to take a photo of this.
Never saw it before and have never seen it happen since.

A roll of the dice shall be invalid whenever either or both of the dice go off the table or whenever one die comes to rest on top of the other. — NJ 19:47-1.9(a)
Following is the link to Chapter 47 of the New Jersey gaming regulations for Craps and Mini-Craps:
http://www.state.nj.us/casinos/actreg/reg/docs_chapter47/c47s01.pdf
I have read that in Las Vegas they would remove the top die to see what number was facing up on the bottom die and call it a valid roll. So Nevada may have different regulations.

I should have guessed you would know where to find a definitive answer to this most unusual situation.
When it happened, the table went silent and for a moment it felt as if no one knew what to do.
Thanks for the information.

Back to the subject. Ever had gas at the table?

Wouldn’t that affect the speed of the toss? LOL
This has nothing to do with gas, but once when I was at a table during the wee hours, it got to only 3 players. The pit came over and announced that they were closing half the table. This was after a few good, but not great rolls I had from SL1. I was forced to move over to SR1, which was open. I remember my reaction. I tried to keep my cool. Stay in the game. Remember what GTC teaches. Although I was not happy, I do practice from time to time from SR1 so I was not flustered. Turned out OK, as I had one good roll from SR1 and called it a night.
Pit creature said he was closing half of the table because it was slow and he was sending the dealer to relieve on the BJ table.

A few months later, at a different casino, this time at night, the same guy shows up. Now he is with 3 other guys. One is a heavy that buys in for 5g. The others buy in for 300 to 500. The crazy man is dressed in a Hawaiian print shirt and a straw fedora type hat. Pineapples on the shirt. All the guys are loud and boisterous. I realize that the other guys were also at the table when I first encountered him. These guys were hooting and hollering and laughing as they each threw the dice and each one had terrible rolls. They all went broke before the dice came back to me. I didn’t lose a penny on them because I was 5 counting.
Table got somewhat hot and they were not there. If you ever see this guy in AC, best to stay away entirely or 5 count him. Just makes you wonder how this crew has the money to keep coming back.
What is next? Does he come to the table in a spacesuit?
