Spread the love

Hi All

This weekend class has already started on a high note with an old student, OJ having a monster roll last night. The room is set up, be it late because the movers showed up 3 hours late …. we have a great group of instructors that stayed to finish the setup …. and we are ready for our OPEN HOUSE all day today.

If you are in Vegas having some fun, stop in and say hello, and there will be instructors to look at your throw as well, all Free. And if you want to stay for the meet and great, for non students it will be just $10 at the door.

Students, instructors, and guest will be posting on this running thread through out the weekend, so come back and ready the goings on.

MillieH and I are scheduled for 9 and 9:30 for the Video Elite. I’m ready for my instructors input on my toss. I have already have had a little help at the tables.
Each time I have attended a class, I get more confidence and better rolls in the casino and at home.

Morning GTC"ers.. NickatNight here.. The Vegas class all day open house is on the way.. I am helping with the camera work for the advanced class that Billy (BTK) and Darrell (No Field Five) teach.

Now, that class is fine detail to see your throw as it is being recorded from the front and back. Then the throw goes on computer and Darrell and Billy analyze your whole approach, grip, backswing and release and then the work begins.

Wow, when I went to the GTC classes many moons ago we did not offer this type of sessions. I will note that GTC has always evolved as students critique the class with wonderful input and also as Dom and the instructors come up with more ideas to make us all better at the Casino as our Dice Journey path gets us more successful.

So, welcome to all out new and returning students and attending instuctors, and GTC friends. So you all know ,today we are missing Marylin and Charlie as Charlie is getting healthier to start his next monster roll

And Today mostly, This is the First Vegas class that we are missing our dear friend and part founder of GTC, BILL BURTON… We all miss him and loved him in our own way. If you had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him you know what I mean. We all offer prayers and peacefulness to his family also his GTC family.

So enjoy the class and see you all soon

Glad to see you made it to Vegas Matt.

Sandman? You will need to tell the story behind that nickname next time we roll.

Just finished the Video Elite, wow so much to work on the next couple of days. Seeing yourself in slow motion, close up, and finding the nuances
that are ingrained into your brain from practicing the same incorrect things each day are going to be a real challenge to change.

Hi team:

This is Pit Boss from the class. Got here late today because I had "less" important work to do, but I had to get it done so I can have a good time here. Sure enough, as soon as I got it got to be fun. Just hanging out with a new student Joe who is a local and a math guy. Now I have someone to double check my math with.

So far we have people just mingling in and out, some people taking video analysis, students coming in to practice or just hang out. In fact, if I was here ad not taking the class, I would come here and just toss for an hour before going to the casinos, its great practice and the price is right…FREE.

If you are anywhere within 50 miles, come on down!

Hope to see some of you soon, looking forward to meeting you.

To All:
I know this will be a great weekend for the students. There is an all star teaching line up from what I can see.
But without me, who is going to have a monster roll after class on Sunday????
Seriously, wish I could be there.
I told a few friends about the open house. They may stop by. I told them to say hello for me if they do. Names are Frank and Doug.
Hope they stop by and see you.
In any event, have a great weekend. Good teaching. Good learning. And Good results at the tables.

Hi everyone!! This is the most fullest room I’ve seen on a Friday, ever. Many tune ups, and Open House visitors/guests/former students stopping by. We have some students that are taking the classes this weekend, coming in for a sneak peek of the who/what/why/where/how….and so on.

I’m working with No Field Five and Billy in the Elite Video Analysis class, working mostly with Billy on fixing issues after they have been analyzed, taking copious notes and offering up fix suggestions to Billy and the student. This is very rewarding as no matter how good anyone….that is anyone, we all still learn each and every time.

It’s a journey….

Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!!

I saw Nick at Night’s post…….its not the same without our friend, Bill "Ace Ten" Burton. I can’t believe the last time we were here, he was still with us. He’s watching over us and rooting us on from the grandest casino in the sky as we continue our journey here with all of our GTC family. 😥 😥

Take care,

This is a great class and all of the students are very accelerated. People came to the class knowing more than basic components of the throw, and the Refreshers I have been working with, have definitely been practicing. Great throws, tweaks to some only. It is a pleasure to be working with dedicated and talented students that listen and want to be great advantage players.

Again, great class GTC!!!!

WOW! WOW! WOW!

This is a such a great class! At the end of the day yesterday when we had the betting hands on,we had so many super long throws! The tables were rocking with everyone winning "FUNNY MONEY"! So many throws in the 30+ had by Tommy, Dave, Ann, just to mention a few.

Having the OPEN HOUSE on Friday made all the difference. Primers, refreshers, and the advanced students had their throws look at by GTC’s GREAT instructors and you could see how that helped on Saturday. Time didn’t need to be spent on the basics with the students. We could get into the steak and potatoes of the throw.

Can’t wait till today starts!

The greatest money roller today is a guy name Peter "smiley", and Louis, Alex, and Ron lives off his rolls!!! 😯

Posted by: RobertM2 on October 20, 2013, 6:28 pm

after primer, 2 video elite and 4 refresher classes, finally the advanced. The advanced is as eye opening as the primer to a person than had never played except as a fun player 2 or three times a year. The refresher gave me the understanding and skills to understand the basics. and gain experience. The video elite gave me the understanding of what was wrong with my throw. The advanced class provided me with the knowledge to understand the conditions of a table. Watch out casinos, here I come.

B the kid and D no field 5 are the best. Thanks a bunch of carnival chips.

Getting excited. Going to take Peter the smiley guy down.

Getting ready for the No 7s Contest with my team, "Taking Care of Business". There’s five, not four……five Refresher students that have OUTSTANDING looking shots. If it were a ladder event, Team TCB would be taking 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Unfortunately, the event must take only one representative from each team.

These people are really good…..so…..

It’s not bragging if you can back it up……and they can.

Team "Taking Care of Business"!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😆 😆 😆 😆
<crowd applause>
<roaring cheers>
