Hi everyone — just wanted to say thanks to all of the GTC Team for their help/instruction in my March 2013 Primer class in AC. Since the class, I’ve rolled ONE 6-point fire bet, TWO 5-point fire bets, SIX 4-point fire bets, and ONE 6-point Sharp-Shooter bet in Colorado. But, this Saturday night was my best — I rolled for One hour and 10 minutes and joined the 60+ roll club
I attribute ALL of my success to the GTC TEAM — all of you are AWESOME and so helpful
I’m looking forward to taking the refresher in AC in March 2014 as I want to be EVEN BETTER !!!!
Thanks again
John (The Lion) & Mila (The Princess)

I am 100% sure that taking the primer class, talking to everyone that weekend (asking questions / being open-minded), and practicing with the shooting/receiving rig (I call it my "chemistry lab") are the reasons I’ve been successful. (Plus, the incredible confidence the class has given me when I shoot the dice)
Thanks so much for all of your help — looking forward to seeing everyone again in March 2014 !!

I hit my second 60+ roll in a month and also had 4 other rolls of 30+ each
But, the best was "the Princess" — she hit a 6-point fire bet for $5K for both of us
Been one awesome & incredible year for us !!!
Thanks to everything we learned in the AC March 2013 class

The Sharpshooter bet in Colorado works thusly. Minimum $1, maximum $25. Make 3 points to earn anything. The wins can be all the same number and not all different like the firebet. Last Sunday I came to a table where the shooter was in the midst of making 7 numbers on the sharpshooter. It payed 50 to 1. A lady at the end of the table had $20 on him!
By the way the "generous" casinos here pay a whole $299 if you hit the firebet for all 6 numbers. Imagine that!! And they get a lot of action on it too.
Disgusting. Maximum is $5 wager in most places on the firebet.
I have only wagered on the Sharpshooter bet a couple of times because it is a bad bet. Maybe $5 a year.
You can see on-line "The Wizard of Odds" for a lot of info on all craps bets.
Good rolling

BTW, I hit 2 five-point fire bets in the past week — I had the 6th point (it was the 8) set-up for $5K , but could not hit it (i sevened-out with a 4/3 roll). I laid $480 against it and had a $50 hard 8 to hedge it further, so my net win was $350 plus the $1250……less $200 for the 5th point hedge (total net win = $1400)……if that makes sense
And "The Princess" hit 2 four-point fire bets over the Thanksgiving Holiday
Been a GREAT year for us

Thanks for the info. on the sharpshooter bet. I like the idea that a shooter still wins with the repeated points. With the fire bet, we have to make that point again and then move on to another number.
Do you know the odds on winning different points? Is there a max number of points that it pays out on?
Does anyone else know of any other states that have the sharpshooter bet? I am in the Midwest, and have not heard of it around here.
Lion,
Again great shooting coming out of the gate!
Thanks

—-Sharpshooter bet tops out at 10 points and pays $300 to 1. The min bet is $1 and the max bet is $25. So, the most you can win is $7,500 (also includes a tax slip so Uncle Sam and Colorado will have a smile on their faces
