Side note. I played with Vanessa Selbst on a few occasions. Really really good player. There is another post on craps about zen, Selbst’s focus at the table is so precise and unwavering. Plus it also helps that she’s incredibly smart. She recently got her JD degree.
These good players push fishes like me around as if we were domino cubes. They three bet with nothing when players are just trying not to bust out of tournaments or just trying to make the money.
Probably the worst thing to do against a good player like this is to let them know how exited we are about being in a big tournament. Once they hear that, they get uber aggressive and just take us off hands.
