Unclaimed Tickets Adding Up in Ohio: The amount of unclaimed slot vouchers from Ohio casinos is now over $800,000. These are often vouchers with only pennies on them that customers don’t bother to redeem. The problem is there is no process in place for distributing the money and it’s currently sitting in an unclaimed-funds account. Nevada had $9.6 million in unclaimed tickets in most recent fiscal year and New Jersey had $2.4 million. Both states split the funds (in different proportions) between the state and the casinos.
