Craps

June Vegas Class

Spread the love

Can’t begin to tell you how much Alligator Rose and Doc enjoyed the class. One of the best ever. The students learned so much. Their improvement was over the top. Student desire to learn, listen and ask questions was exceptional.

If anyone of this board is considering taking a class, Vegas in October should be a priority—be it a primer class, refresher class, advanced class, elite video, or tune up. The investment in time and money will pay you back many times over.

We thank each and every student for their effort and look forward to playing with them in the casino.

The New and Improved GTC is truly the best.

This was my 3rd Class I have taken and it was by far the best. I had heard about the changes before going, and all I can say is, to me, the class is even better than it was before, it was really good. I can’t say enough about all the GTC crew. What a great bunch of people. It is just so evident that they truly care about what they are doing. The over whelming feeling you get from all the instructors is that they truly want you to be the best you can be.

I took this class with my friend Tom. Tom and I started playing craps together and we took our first Primer back in March 2012 in AC. This was his 2nd class. I took the Video analysis Friday and he took a tune up with Mr. Finesse. He told me he really got a lot out of the Tune up. This seems to be a great formula. Take a tune up or video analysis and then spend the rest of class reinforcing what you have learned.

My Video analysis was AWESOME. Working with Billy the Kid and NFF, I just can’t see how it gets better than that. I had been practicing every day for months before class, and I could see flaws in my throw and would go back re read old notes from previous classes and just keep at it, but I was struggling. Within the first 10 minutes, the same problem I had been having showed and they spotted it and corrected it. It was something rather simple, but I would still be trying to figure it out on my own had I not taken a 2nd refresher and V/A. The little things make the biggest differences. Seeing your throw on the video is just amazing. You can actually see what has been taught and explained to you in words, on video. This really brings it together in your mind.

Working with Billy one on one, was Great! Man, that guy is good! LOL. He really is a great teacher. It was not long before my shot really started to look good. I was very pleased with the Video analysis. One of the things that stuck out to me, was when working with Billy and NFF, it was not just the physical aspects that they teach, but also just the mental part of the throw. How you look and think of the game, which to me is just everything. Just can’t say enough about it. Thanks Billy and NFF!

So after going through Friday instruction, the class began on Saturday. My mentor was the Goddess. She was great. She made sure, as I went to various stations, that I remembered what my trouble areas were, so that I could continue to work on them. Not only was she a great teacher and mentor, the Goddess is very friendly and it was great just to get talk to her about the game of craps! Thanks so much for all you did for me and Tom. I could go on and on about all the other instructors, they are all truly great!

The no sevens contest was a blast as well! I will call him Mr. Giggles, he won and it was quite a show. He is quite a character! Great Guy and has a “sick throw” and “it’s beautiful”. LOL

Can’t Wait till the Next Class!

Louis,
It was our pleasure to work with you and our other students. I’m glad you were pleased with the results, and believe that your results correlate to your hard work and your understanding of the proper throw.
You are correct in acknowledging the difficulty trying to correct your toss without the aid of another set of eyes or the camera. It ain’t easy!
Thanks again,
BTK

It was my pleasure to work with you, LT. You have a great shot, and I know with practice you will be very successful. I look forward to reading about your trips.

Thanks. Goddess

Add "sick roll", "waaahhhhh", "we in the money", "yes yes", "buy the 4 and 10 for maximum please" hahahaha 👿

This was a very fun class, I really enjoyed it. Thanks to all my past mentors Timmer, Dice Pilot, and Randman you guys helped me tremendously and never giving up. And a big thanks to all the instructor and Billy the kid and No field 5 Daryl for correcting my sick throw. 😆

It was nice to have Goddess again as my mentor. She did a great job for me once again. Thanks again to all the instructors who helped me out and corrected a flaw I had in gripping the dice.
I will work harder on the details of the grip. I have my gripper here with me at work.
Although I took a small loss after class, I feel that the refresher course was what I needed to put me on a better path for controlling the dice.
Thank you all once again for being a great mentor and instructors and showing a lot of patience.

I would like to repeat a few of the comments I said during the recent Las Vegas class here for all to read,

The group of students we had were by far the most attentive and inquisitive group we have ever had. they asked great questions and comprehended what we taught. All of the instructors agree that the improvement of all the students could be seen from station to station and hour by hour.

I am looking forward to future classes and the return of some of these students to observe how rapidly they will improve. I think many will return for refreshers classes, tune-ups and video elite analysis. I also think we have a few candidates to progress and become candidates for an advanced class from BTK and NFF.

Looking forward to seeing everyone down the road and please remember to ask us questions when you have them, the instructors are here to help you.
