Ok! Nick T-Nick@Night here. Just getting ready for our New and Improved format with live blogs, open 11house all day Friday till our "meet & Greet"
Looking forward to new students and returning Students and of coarse, getting to share time with all our fellow GTC group.

Some of the students and instructors have brought in to share low cal treats that is always welcome for this fit bunch.

Good crap play stories have already coming in. Returning students are sharing their successes and wanting to correct a few items in their crap table play.

Temperature in Vegas is a balmy 115 degrees. The smart ones are in the pool, shade or inside.

So,hope to see a lot of comments this weekend from all our participants here in Vegas and additional comments from our GTC friends on this board.

As always, Continued Fortune to all of you in the Casino’s. Safe travels to all of you as you criss cross in the car or air as we get to share those successes at the tables.

To the new students, returning students, elite video students–WELCOME ABOARD and WELCOME to GTC

Just finished Video Elite class. The slow motion replay of all the problems with my throw were evident from the start. Now I have a video of the issues that I need to work on. Well worth the money for the video class and personal instruction. Highly Recommend and can’t wait for the refresher class tomorrow.

Seriously speaking, this open house is a great thing, if you’re in town stop by and check things out

This open house is awesome! Nice to be able to get to meet the instructors in this casual atmosphere. Appreciate being able to get a variety of input and try out different tables.

Hi everyone from Timmer:

Taking a break from working with BTK and NFF and the Elite Video Analysis for lunch.

Everyone is having a lot of fun at the open house and the instructors are enjoying giving those who stop by a few pointers on their throws.

The open house is such a great change!

🙄 🙄 😛 😆 😆 😆

SectionEight here… T-Minus BLASTOFF from Ground Zero!! 😛

It’s hot outside (109 right now) 😯 !!!!!! Many taking tune ups are heating up the instruction tables here and the video elite is going on. No Field Five and Billy The Kid have upgraded the HD high speed cameras and software. As many know, I do photography and video as another hobby and have some decent equipment at home. This stuff is IMPRESSIVE!!! NFF can video at up to 1800 frames per second!!!!!!!!! WOW!!

Many students and visitors have stopped by and have made the comments that this is a good thing. Rafter and I came in to stay for a little bit…..that was at 9am!! It’s such a positive change, and a lot of fun too…..heck, we’re still here!! 😀

Great idea for this Dom!!! Listening to inputs from students in a relaxed environment, seeing fellow instructors, and working with a few looking for pointers is really rewarding. The changes are outstanding!!!!

If you’re in town, stop by and see us!! Everyone is enjoying this!! 😀

Looking forward to the Meet N Greet tonight and the classes this weekend!!!

Kindest regards,
SectionEight

GameDay here.
Just home from work and checking the GTC forum.
See that you are all having a good time and I am wishing I could be there.
Nick at Nite says 115 degrees and the tables are hotter. Looks like a good stable of players and newbies showed up. Great for GTC and for the students. Lots to learn.
Section 8 says the new camera equipment is great. Real fast shutter will slow down the video. Maybe now we can get at the root of my throwing issues. LOL.
Guess I am taking the video elite again!!!!
Rafter says Dom is buying lunch!! Boy have things changed. LOL again.
I love the excitement this new format has generated. It brings out the best in GTC.
Hey, Section 8. Still waiting for you to come to NY so I can show you the real GodFathers house!!!

To all, take care. Have fun and learn a lot. You all have a great group to learn from . The Best.

See you all in October.

Whewwwww, just checked in on the stirp hotel. 120 degrees and we saw a guy jogging. I think his blood was boiling.

Posted by: TommyC on June 29, 2013, 12:18 am

We crossed the street and played a little bit right out of the Video Elite class. I was tired and ready for some Video Poker. But a table was just opening. I shot 3 times w/ a 12, pt-7 and an 18. RonaldH had a 24 w/ after some slight tuneups. Ready to work on the adjustments tomorrow at refresher class.

Lunch is done and now we are having two hours of hands on.

Posted by: Goddess on June 29, 2013, 10:54 pm

Mr Finesse here, we are on a break and then we are going in to the lecture room for a brief summation on proper betting
This class has been exceptional. The Primers are showing remarkable improvement in a very short time, we will have a few excellent players if the put in the practice time.

The refreshers are a great group of people and the improvement some have made is amazing. All have improved but a few have had the light bulb turn on this weekend, it can be seen in their faces when this happens.

Can’t wait to see the improvement in all tomorrow.

I have said this before and I want to say it again. This new and improved GTC class is great. Information and instruction from start to finish. Anyone trying to improve should try the Video Elite, the education you receive with this is truly hard to imagine.
Then the next day to work on your flaws, during the refresher class is truly the way to go. Each instructor was aware of the things I needed improvement on. Better sign up for a class I believe its going to get harder and harder to get in. I know I’m coming back in October, so 1 refresher and Elite Video is spoke for .
Thanks to all the instructors and mentors for your help in class and on this board.

Today is Sunday and class is starting

Posted by: Guest on June 30, 2013, 4:36 pm

Live Betting segment is starting. Students roll and get looked at by the main instructor at the table, and also how they bet.

Betting is just as important as the throw and betting is stressed!

What a great event! The new GTC is the best ever! Actually had about three days worth of instruction with all the help I got re-building my throw on Friday. On Friday I got to learn what the video analysis is all about and am planning on doing that as soon as possible. This has got to be the best tool to tune in your throw that there is.

Everyone was upbeat and it made for a great learning experience.

A big thanks to all of the instructors who really put a lot into their efforts to help us learn what we needed to do to get our throw right.

The betting lectures were a really good addition to the course.

The changes in GTC have been very very positive!!! The most organized class I’ve been part of, student or instructor. 😀

In the classroom, this group of new folks did not talk much and seemed to understand all that was covered. In the throwing room………THEY LISTENED to everything we told them. The group I mentored, Taking Care of Business, had four people…and it will be very rewarding to keep an eye on their progress from here. What a great group!!! These people are going to be outstanding as long as they practice and do all the things said to them during class.

Changes in focus on the grip and throw components ensured everyone was on the same page and no confusion in instruction. It really was the smoothest class from setup to takedown. Dom…..WOW!!!! 😀

Kind regards,

SectionEight
