Wisconsin casinos: Guards should not wrestle shooters
19 June 2013
WISCONSIN — Experts are reflecting on how last weekend’s shooting incident at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino was handled, according to a Journal Sentinel report.

The conclusion suggests correct security policies were followed, the report said.

Industry standards instruct that unarmed security guards should not catch and arrest shooters, according to the Journal-Sentinel report.

During the incident an armed man shot a woman in the leg and casino patrons forcefully removed the gun from him, the report explained.
