Cruising for a bruising? A Cruise to lose? Or not?

Spread the love

Recently an AC casino had a cruise promotion. It seems for real. Only pay port fees and taxes. Can pick from the full lineup of offerings by one company. Can upgrade from inside stateroom. Savings for couple are about $2200. Seems like the real deal and a nice comp.

Anyone here ever taken such a cruise? How are these Casinos at Sea? From what I can see there are double odds, one table. Only open while ship at sea.
Are there comps associated with the ship casino? Do you earn future trips?
How do we compensate for the rocking of the ship?

All kidding aside, any feedback would be apppreciated.

Gameday, I’ll email you. Irishmen actually took a cruise (not through this promotion) but I’ll tell you what I know.

There have been lots of posts on cruises. Go to the top of CRAPS and where it says " Search this Forum" enter "Cruise Ships" This will bring up a number of main posts. When you see one that interest you clik on the Re…….. and you can get that post.

My Advise on a cruise: Enjoy the cruise, ie ports and tours, shows, entertainment, food and go for long walks to help keep the pounds down.

Most ships only have 1 craps table and only open when at sea. The Oasis of the Seas has 2 (1 in smoking and 1 in non-smoking) but the smaller ships may have only card games and slots. The max odds that I have seen is 2x .

Have a great time

Gameday,

Just got back from a great cruise on my favorite cruise line.

Craps on this line are usually the same conditions on most of the ships.

What is really nice is that :

1. No heat, no comments from staff.

2. Same table, same conditions. This lets you figure out what works with this table.

3.After a few sessions other players start to pass you the dice, very nice feeling.

4. Usually the same players every session, lots of good interaction with them.

5. Dealers love that I tip. Know you by name.

Yes, I do get comps, discounts and other amenities from the club.

If you need any other info about cruising PM or email me for specifics.
