Magician Criss Angel will perform a death-defying stunt Thursday night, and the audience gets to choose the swords that will fall on him. Fans and the curious can watch the dangerous demonstration for free on Fremont Street.

The Cirque du Soleil “Believe” headliner at the Luxor will be chained to a wooden table with six swords hung above him. One is positioned over his heart, which makes it a guaranteed fatality if the trick goes wrong. The stunt will be filmed for his 10 Spike TV 1-hour specials airing this fall.

Criss said: “Life is death without risk. My demonstrations are a testament to my philosophy. Live every moment to the fullest.” Criss continues with his nightly shows while filming the new series.
