The Bottom line is absolutely. Many of you may have read Brothelman’s post and responses concerning "what do you to adjust from a 12 foot table to a 14 foot table?" There was one answer from Mr. Finesse that particularly caught my eye. He said in so many words, to simply lengthen your back swing a little bit but use the exact same speed on the forward throw. The increase in distance in your over all forward swing will easily get the dice to go gently the extra 12 inches on a 14 boot table.

I have a habit of throwing the dice a little too hard on our 12 foot table at home. The beautiful Alligator Rose corrects me on this all the time. I decided to reverse Mr. Finesse’s advise. Since I am throwing a little too hard I made it a point to shorten my back swing a small amount and "DUH" what do you think happened? My shot was perfect, hitting the back wall and stopping about 4 to 6 inches from back wall. No splitting or the dice or rolling too far back down toward the middle of the table.

I did not adopt Mr. Finesse’s advice, I adapted it. Notice there is only one letter difference in these two words.

There is a ton of information on this board. If you are serious about advantage play it is the place to get what you need. Use it. The members of this board are a great bunch of men and women and will help you at the drop of a pair of dice. You simply need to spend a little time there.
