    Something different on Friday before the class

    We are doing something a little different on the Friday before the class this year. The practice room is open all day. Those of you in the AC area are welcome to stop by and say hello. You will meet other GTC students and possibly hook up. Instructors will be around all day.

    it is really an Open House for everyone. Also if you want to stick around for the Meet and Great Party that starts at 6:00, it is $30 at the door for drinks.

    All are welcome, GTC students as well as those that are thinking about taking a class. This Open House will get you to really think about advancing your skills

    What is this "drinks" thing you mention? Never heard of anything alike. Will have to try it :D.
    What is the location where this mysterious "drinks" entity will meet us?

    Great idea. What time will the open house start? I know you said all day, but just wanted to know the earliest it will be open should I get there early.

    I like the excitement!

    Location is the Sheraton Hotel, second floor.

    The open house room will open at 9:00 AM. As far as the hard drinks and food, that starts at 6:00 for the Meet and Great … if you attend the M&G it is $30 at the door. The early part of the day is open to who ever wants to come in and say hello!

    Even though it was not formal, when I could get away from work, and the class was in Tinica I would stop by and vist my friends at the class.

    Remember one time when I was introduced to the class so people would know that I was approachable if they saw me at the tables in Tunica.

    Another time I filled in for a half hour as a dealer at the Speed count glass.

    There were some fun times.

    As to the name tag idea. You probably want to know the persons real name also so you do not use their handle at the table

    We want everyone to come by on Friday and spend some time with us. We will have the GTC store open so you can pick up some dice or a book while you are there too.

    One thing for those of you that are going to stop by early to say hello ….

    We will be having tune ups and the Video Elite class going on. You are welcome to watch, but DO NOT INTERFERE with the teaching by saying hello to to the teachers or student being taught.

    There is nothing wrong with saying something after the session with the teacher, but not during the lesson. I am sure you all understand
