An amusing story I picked up from somewhere:

I have a friend who is usually very careful about drinking and driving but he went to his office Christmas party last week and got blitzed. So he took a cab for the first time and was glad he did as there was a DUI check point. Because he was in a cab he was waved on. He called me the next morning scared to death. Apparently when he said he took a cab he really took a cab. He found it in his garage and he was asking me what he should do to get rid of it without getting caught. So don’t forget, when you take a cab, don’t "take" a cab.
