Doc Doing Great

Spread the love

Many on this board may not know but the old Doc was diagnosed with atrial flutter–a condition where the heart beats very fast—like 132 beats a minute instead of the normal 60 to70 beats per minute. Had a heart ablation this morning. The procedure last about 40 minutes and you go home in 4 to 5 hours—in other words it is outpatient surgery. Was home taking a nap by 2:00 pm. Its crazy that the Dr. can tap dance around in your heart and it is day surgery.

I already feel better and Alligator Rose says my coloring is better so I guess my heart is in good rhythm and getting the necessary oxygen to my entire body.

Casinos look out—the old Doc is back.

Look forward to AC in March.

Doc

That is good news, Doc. Looking forward to many many more years of your company at GTC functions and at the tables.

I have SVT. Super ventricular taciicardia. It cause my heart to beat very fast when i have an episode. I have been up to 203 beats per minute. They had to stop and restart my heart twice to get it back on rhythm. I can tell u it really sucks when it happens. It usually starts out of nowhere. Ablation has been known to help but I have not gone that route.

Glad u are doing well.

Glad all is well Doc, I just finished wearing a monitor as by heart rate has always been low. My normal is in the 40s, shame we can’t average each other.

Take care.

that is great news

I know how upsetting that can be, since i had lymes desease my heart can get very irregular, like
30 irrregular beats per minute, feels like two guys are playing ping pong in there.

Life goes on, glad yours is going on better.

These things sorta make stuff like hit the back wall seems rather unemportant.

gman bouncing around here in Wisconsin 😆 😆

Medical science can do some amazing stuff these days. Glad to hear you’re doing better.

Are you sure it wasn’t Alligator Rose that was making your heart beat faster? 😮
