This is the most jealous/envious I have ever been of someone. Have some major fun and please, please, please let us know how it goes. The rolls, the food… the rolls, the drinks… the rolls and the food 🙂

This was mostly a fun trip for me… 50th bday and Buffett concert, but there was some good food (see Stephan’s post about our trip to Ping Pang Pong!).
Arrived Friday, stayed away from the tables (sort of, helped block for a couple GTC’rs for a few rounds)
Tenaya Creek Brewery (local micro) had a charity beer dinner that evening, so some fine hand-crafted lagers and ales were enjoyed. Great Oktoberfest menu paired with some very nice local beers! I whole heartedly encourage you to drink local!
Table play was less than what I had planned, as our trip was cut-short and had to return home Sunday, but did get out and about Saturday. Got out with the Colorado crew and enjoyed watching some fine advantage-play, rolling and field-testing The Big Skinny! It was nice on my last roll, was repeating numbers something fierce! Took Stephan’s tips and went full-odds on the Come bets. Helped dig us out of a small whole from earlier.
Got to roll a short bit with Alamo TX. Tex, your toss looks better than I’ve ever seen it, the video paid off. Some fine-tuning and you will be stronger, you just wait and see! And… thanks for the tip on my aiming/angle issue, that one comment has really helped me with my game now. Now… this was my first weekend in Vegas in a LONG time… too many people, too many amatuer/ploppies/drunks, may just stick to mid-week trips (better playing opportunities and better hotel rates!) Good time, will be back! 😎

Nice report on your travels, Griz.
There sure is a lot going on in Vegas on the weekends. 🙄
Most of it isn’t good for trying to find advantage play conditions.
Regardless, thanks for not mentioning any specifics about casinos. And your descriptive report was none the worse for not doing so.
😎 😎 😎

Nice report, thanks for that.
You live to play, eat and drink for many more days, even though the play time had to be cut short.
I hope you returned home with a handful of profits and good memories! 🙂

Very kind words Griz…you must have noticed my lamentations on the board. : ) The old shot was serviceable, but I agree, when the new, improved shot is working, it is much better. Time and practice will be my plan…as opposed to leaving the game! We’ll see ya on the next one. I’m probably going to Shreveport between Thanksgiving and Christmas…during the week….you’re comments about Vegas on the weekend mirror my thoughts about the place to a ‘t’.
