What a game!

Spread the love

A pinch hit HR in the 9th and a walk-off in the 12th. There have been so many of those since ’96 but it never ever ever gets old. As my son was dozing off, I said, "Wake up Ibanez is getting up again." He woke up, saw it, celebrated for 5 minutes and went right to sleep. He woke up in the morning smiling and talking about the 2 homers. Add another one to the lure and let the good times roll. The pitching has been great btw. Let’s keep our fingers crossed with Hughes.

Hughes pitched well but those damn Orioles are a good team. I think the season is even up on the wins and losses of these teams against each other. Today Sabbathia pitches. Maybe the Yankee bats will explode.

Hey Big Ron,

Sure have enjoyed the playoffs so far, very entertaining! I keep waiting for the Yanks bats to come alive, maybe today. Will be rooting for the Yanks. Would love to see a Giants, Yankee World Series!!

My SF Giants sure surprised alot of people with a 3 game sweep in Cincy!!! When they lost the first two in SF, i didn’t have alot of hope, but just goes to show you what good pitching can do to good hitting. Will see today who the Giants will play, either host the Cards or go to Washington.

Take Care!!

Hey Kurt and UD, glad to hear from you guys.

Baseball has been great this year. The pennant races is September, the 2 elimination wild cards, walk off wins and all division series going to 5 games.

I’m looking at going to game 6 in Yankee Stadium(if necessary). For now I guess we get to sit back, pop a beer and enjoy some good baseball.

Nice game by CC, great comeback by The Giants and The Cards!
