There is a line in a song i like which says " to be more than all i am would be a lie".
When you think about that and really understand it, i think that is part of much of
the problems we see in life. People try to be more than they are, try to spend more
than they make, try to control more than they can handle, and try to correct all they
see as not right through a paradym they themselves have not verified.
To me that encapsilates president Obama. He really sees himself as god like, the greatest
president of all time, savior to world…. with the only support for that being what he thinks.
Any honest assessment of his life indicates that, entry to the best colleges with no record
of qualifications…. Harvard Law without the provision of a single thing he ever wrote or thought.
State Senator with no voting record at all, United states Senator for a few months with
no achievements, President based on no qualifications at all, Noble Peace prize for
breathing…two books about himself before he has done anthing….
it is no wonder he thinks he is god like…….
The problem is if you think your god like ( or Mohamad like) and you have the power, you
can do an awful lot of damage… and he has..
Some of the problems he has created wont be fixed in my life time ie… Race relations, middle
east problems ( remember it was Jimmy Carter that gave us Iran) division between classes, and
the set back to small business. If the vote in November goes the wrong way the next set of
problems he will create wont be fixed in the life times of our kids and grand kids, and the world
will never be the same.
Today interest on the national debt is $340 billion a year, 2015 projection at 5% interest is 640 billion
and 2016 at the end of an Obama second term is set at 1 trillion….per year or 45% of what the
entire federal tax income is today.
Today tax revenue is just over $10,000 per person and we spend over $18,000 per person a year. Our
federal commitments over over 65 trillion… plus the national debt of 16 trillion…. staggering.
It is projected tax rates will need to be between 59-90% on those actually paying taxes.
I would remind all that during the great depression, all the wars.,,.,, and all recessions since, the federal
government has remained functional, though many times misguided in its solutions. But the very fact
that it was there and functional allowed the masses to believe no matter how bad things are, they can
improve……. the next financial bubble to break is the federal government…. that bubble will be so
much worse than what we are going through it is staggering to consider..,….the complete loss of hope….
Far fetched you say???????
Not for the god like!!!!
