After last week’s stunning loss, I had to dig deeper to find my team of the week. I really thought the Giants had their stuff together. Obviously, I was wrong.

This week I considered everything that has worked for me in the past when my record was stellar. I thought about buying another fish but decided I did not have time to consistently feed him. I wanted to consult the magic 8 ball, but the 8 ball was cracked and the magic liquid dried up. These were 2 of my tried and true methods.

I needed to find a sign, something that would "Show me the Way", Peter Frampton.

Well, I walked out on my back patio and suddenly I was being dive bombed by a Mockingbird! "Stupid bird", I thought. And then it dawned on me. I had forgotten one of my best prognostication tools. The Bird Team theme!

That was it, the pearl of wisdom that was needed to make a foolproof pick this week. I used the Bird Team theory to make my pick. Which team should I go with? Eagle, Cardinal, Raven, Falcon, Seahawk (Whatever the hell a Seahawk is). So many choices, but only one pick for me.

Wouldn’t you know it, fate would intervene again. At the time the dumbass bird divebombed me, my phone rang. It was my best friend, Billy the Kid, who happens to live in Seattle. Violin……that was all I needed. It was a divine message from God.
