Open Challenge to Scan…A Bronx Tale

Spread the love

Scan:

I know you like Chazz Palminteri. So here is some detective work for you. I am willing to bet a sandwich at your favorite deli (and I know you have a few)for proof that Chazz was the little boy in a Bronx Tale.

In a Bronx Tale, Sonny tells young 9 year old Calogero, your name will be C. Funny, Chazz starts with a C.

Sonny always told C to stay in school and get an education, "don’t be like me" he said, well Chazz got an education both on the streets and in school.

Coincidence…Ha, I think not. I say Chazz and C are one and the same.

I think you are correct my friend and this was a great movie.

Wow,,, this is funny timing. Just yesterday a friend was telling me his wife is a distant relative of Chazz. However, he said she has not seen him in about many years.

I will see what I can do.

Pit boss. All the time I spent in that area of the Bronx was spent eating on Arthur Ave. Great food block!!!

But I love a challenge however in this case most of the witnesses are dead
Slick, Crazy Mario and Aldo burned up in that car when they headed over to Clydes Records to get Willie and his friends LOL

Most likely this was based on real life events that he experienced or witnessed

However. I think this article may help you draw a conclusion

While I got you what was the first point C made in the basement

What was the name of the horse everyone was mushed on

Just as i suspected, he was C. He had to be, who else can play 18 roles in a play if they were’nt the part through their own experinces.
OK Scan, next time im in NY, we’re hanging out at your favorite eating establishment, on me.

The first point C made was a hard four. He established the point with a 3-1notepad though.

As for the horse, it’s onbthe tip of my tounge, but i cant remeber the name without cheating &the looking it up on it Google. But I can see Moos’s face as he’s rooting for the horse while walking down the steps and Sonny tearing up the tickets in frustration.

Got an easy one is for you.
1. What was the name of Sonny’ right hand man?
2. How much was Lorenzo offered for just "dropping off some numbers"

Apologies for the typos, this is from the phone.

2. How much was Lorenzo offerd to "just drop off some numbers"?

It was the #1 horse Kryotonite

Sonny’s right hand man was Jimmy Whispers played by Staten Island’s own Clem Caserta

I THINK Lorenzo was offered 200 per week. He could not take it because he had a "city job" and he could lose it if he "got pinched". By the way how many time did he have to drive the bus back and forth so the family could eat steak once a week?

Lunch is a date but I am in New jersey now…. I do not get in to the city much. I try to stay away. Been there done it all. Perhaps we can do a slice at Tony Baloney’s my favorite AC pizzeria. Right around the corner from Revel.
The pizza is nothing like NY. The place looks like it is falling apart, but they crazy combinations make it special. The owner Mike is a great guy. It won the best cheeses steak by Guy Feriri of the food network.

You got me on the times back and forth, I know C said it "because I Counted"

Lorenzo was offered $150 a week for the numbers.

All of a sudden, I have this craving for pizza. Tony Baloney’s, were there.

Speaking of cheese-steak, I think both Pat’s and Gino’s are overrated. Yes they are landmarks, but unless you grew up with the stuff, it’s just greasy meat and Velveeta cheese. BTW, I get mine with provolone.

On the other hand, there is GREAT deli on every corner in both Philly, New York and New Jersey. Dice Pilot and I went to a tiny deli near Gino’s, they had the best bread, they made their own dressing and spreads and the meats were to die for.

Tony Baloney’s – how safe is the area around Tony’s? Almost walked there from Revel when we were in AC last month but chickened out.

Thomas

300 oriental. In the DAYTIME.. Walk on the boardwalk one block past Revel. Walk one block up that street. It is on the corner. You should be fine.
