Buy Bet better than Place Bet?

I made changes in my simple Place Bet spreadsheet to allow Buy Bets.

Compare the loss on a random toss between the Place bet of $5 and the Buy Bet of $20 0o the 4 & 10

A little help…I am adding a sheet that I believe is also correct for a pay up front vs pay on the win. . I believe that I failed to charge the payout for the commission on the buy up front. Although they Pay you $40 they keep your $1 commission , therefore the payout is actually only worth $39

‘Good" Buy Bets can also be made on the extreme outside numbers on a Crapless table:

Some casinos take the ‘Vig"(commission) on the win only, while more casinos take the commission up front.

Let me tell you, it has been more than worth it to me. I have learned more and better understand the math and the variables involved in properly addressing the bets!

No, I don’t believe that the experts are completely correct.

There are three variables in analyzing the Buy Bets. Almost no one addresses all three at the same time. Most use the math formulas without considering using all three variables at once.

[*]Payout up front or on the win[/*]
[*]Amount of the bet[/*]
[*]Number of sevens out[/*]
[*]I would add dice set(numbers tossed)[/*][/list]

I thoroughly enjoy the Wizards math on Craps, but also realize that he is prejudiced against the Craplesss Craps.
