The Democratic Party has produced a television ad purporting to show Rep Paul Ryan throwing grandma off the cliff, by opposing ObamaCare.

A couple of San Antonio doctors have responded with an effective ad to counter this injustice. See the ad produced by Drs Jane Hughes and Kris Held.

Great video. I still think that Obama will win especially now with the Akin idiocy. This was handed to them on a platter.

I also think R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr. of The Washington Times has a better handle on the pulse of the campaign and direction of the election in his article published yesterday.

I especially agree with his conclusion:, "Mr. Obama is casting his net for the moron vote. I do not believe there are enough morons out there to re-elect him."

Anyone who would be swayed to vote for Obama because of the Akin comment belongs in the moron category. Akin immediately apologized for his comments. Furthermore, Akin has been denounced and criticized by Romney and every other Republican who spoke out on the issue. Akin is a congressman from Missouri. He is not running for President, Vice President nor was he ever Speaker of the House or the Majority leader of the Senate.

I could fill these pages with much worse that has been said by Obama, Biden (including his recent "put y’all back in chains" quip), Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi. They are a lot more prominent than Representative Todd Akin. But this is a nonsensical issue being raised by the Democrats to deflect from the real issues that are important to the country.

Take a look at Tyrrell’s article below:

Rush had some pithy comments about the election. On his syndicated radio show Thursday afternoon, conservative host Rush Limbaugh made the case, “I think that the country could survive four more years of Obama,” he said. “But I don’t believe the country can survive in a country full of people who would re-elect him."
