I wish people would watch the entire hearing instead of picking out bits and pieces that feed into their own point; however most of us do just precisely that. And just to let you know there have been many examples of Republican Senators voicing their support for several parts of the Affordable Care Act to include the Penalty/Taxation portion before the President and the Democrats took up the mantle and tried to solve the problem. When that happened, all of the policies and ideas the Republicans championed before were suddenly unconstitutional or unjust. Gov. Romney was on Meet the Press stating that his state health care plan should serve as a model for the country and now it does – he should be proud of that fact. Instead he runs from it and blatantly flips flops about it and say no I didn’t say that (which are you going to believe me on video know or me on video then).
If anyone is interesting in watching the entire summit missed it when it was aired a couple of years ago and want to see the President and Senators from both sides of the aisle debate the health care plan you can watch it here http://www.c-span.org/Events/White-House-Health-Care-Summit-with-Congressional-Leaders/16350/. It really is a good debate that I found interesting with good points on both sides.
