You know the story, when you ask a hunter about what they got and they
start talking about all they saw and the great weather, you know they
did not get anything.

Sue and I had a very interesting trip ( laughing)

It was indeed the most interesting trip i have been on ranging from a number
nice wins on card tables by my wife, to several bouts of why in the world
have i invested the time and money i have to be a dice controller, and
for the first time being singled out a number of times as a dice controller,to
some sole searching and a good ending.

First Sue and i always have good trips together, other stuff is a bonus, but
damnit i am supposed to be a dice controller, that means I have the advantage
not them……..laughing.

Any way from a craps stand point it was not what i was looking for. First we have
been playing more at home on the tables that seem to best fit my throw. The
tables here are very different, RS was to high, CB was to long and bouncy and
GN for me atleast was unplayable with the bounce. Now let me indicate i
am not complaining about the tables, i was just not good enough to figure them
out, some of you are. P was a short table with good bounce but they only had
the right side of the table open all the time (board placed in middle). We tried
from the very end, both Bob and i had ok rolls, but as soon as they saw we were
dice setting they took the board away so we had the throw the entire table. We
left and came back the next day and as soon as they saw us throw they took it away
again.

The green place has a decent table and bounce and i went there 4 times and could
never get st1.

So most of my frustration was playing on varied tables . The last night i got on
the 14′ at AQ and that had a nice bounce and after a couple of getting used to
rolls i did well. toss looked very good and repeated many 4,6,8 much like at
home. Right away i got the " you must have seen that video to stuff"
that seems to be the saying at every table in town. My second nice roll the
pit boss stopped my and said no more of that, the dice need to roll. I said
i dont understand, after they leave my hand i have no idea what they are going
to do. He said no more of that landing flat, hitting the wall and then just falling
down. i want them to roll. I new what he meant, but i just kept throwing
and it was ok.

When i was done i asked him if that was ok and he said not really, anyway
when you see the folks at Golden Touch tell them that stuff does not work anyway.
I said well if i ever see any one like that i will pass that along..

Next day went back and had two more sessions that were fun. Last one had nice roll
with 5 6’s in a row. . The crew was talking about setting and the video, stick guy said it is all
luck anyway, box man said i dont think i agree with that.

Time to go i noted to the boxman that i was looking for a place to play here in
Laughflin, since i did not want to play at RS and would i be welcome here. He said
he is ok with it, just try to not get to slow, Said the night pit boss does not
like setting so he was not sure about that. I thanked him for letting me play.

I got beat up pretty good for 3.5 days so when i did get to play under the better
conditions, i was not betting as much as i should be so my good rolls did not make
up for the all the bad stuff. So in the end i was a loser.

The good side was that all this nonsense again revealed the one absolute in my throw
that makes me hit 4/6/8 over and over or makes me worse than a ramdom
thrower. I have to play where i have that, or i will not be a very good.

In the end it was a costly lesson, but a lesson learned none the less.
