Five minutes of freefall! 600 MPH! that would be fantastic. Amazing, however, that with all the newer technology he apparently did not break Kittinger’s records. Awesome feat!

Well, Pointman, it is a very long way down.
I wonder how close he was able to get to his target spot. I can do pretty well from 12,000-15,000 ft. AGL but 17 miles???? I suspect the landing area was nothing but wide open spaces.

He probably landed in the same area reserved for UFOs near Roswell. Doesn’t the government keep that area wide open for UFO landings?
