Has anyone out there ever been on a casino cruise? There is a new one in my area, and I am curious to know if they follow the same rules as "real" casinos. Anything to be aware of?

StevenJ,
Are you asking about a 5-6 hour cruise to international waters, or a regular multiple day cruise? I have gone out on 5-6 hour cruises in the Gulf Coast of South Florida. The two 14 foot crap tables play by the same rules you find in land casinos. (Florida does allow land casinos to have crap tables) I have taken 7 Day cruises and the 12 foot table rules were the same as land casinos. Beware of rough seas, it can effect your throw. Play the 5 count, and make sure to have tip bets for the dealers. You will most likely be the only shooter tipping the dealers. Good Shooting today. Set44 😀 😀 😀

on a casino cruise?

I have been on a one night casino cruise, a number of one week, 10 day and two week cruises.

They were all different, but followed regular casino rules with their own rules on the Odds. Usually the Odds are very conservative, two times Odds seems to prevail.

The one night casino cruise had a 12 foot table that was crowded for the entire 4 hours of playing time.

On the extended cruises, I have seen a 12 foot table often, a 14 foot table once, a 10 foot tub once(I hated the tub). One cruise had a 12 foot table with a 14 foot cloth.

The tables do not open when the ship is in port or within a certain distance of land(depending upon the local restrictions). Usually the tables are only open at night after dinner and while the shows are going on in the theater. The tables remain open while there are players. Only once were the tables crowded for an extended period.

On extended cruises the dealers are usually fairly new to the game and are in training. Tips are greatly appreciated.

I have been on the casino cruise twice 3 craps tables one is covered all the time especially on the nite cruise , two trips daily 11am and 7pm. two 12 ft tables 5x odds no hop bets. dealers seem to be friendly except this one box person gave me a problem. all the shooters throwing dice every which way you can think of, however when i leaned over the table and made my set grip and throw missed the back wall on my third throw the heat started from the box

there is a10 d boarding pass and they have a free bus service from local hotels and return no charge you guessed it just a tip///

did not see anybody throw the dice the gtc way. the casino cruise leaves out of port canaveral, fl.
good shooting

Leftend22,
Yes, last year got hassles from the very unfriendly pit boss.
Gave them a bad review online to third party.
Stayed away for many months and used the savings to get me a very
good wristwatch. Thanks to him.
Went back again this year and got no hassles so far.
Dealers are friendly.
