    Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse in Golden Nugget AC

    I am going on a little overnight golf trip towards the end of this month. We will be golfing near AC and staying in town for the night. In previous years I arranged dinner at the Old Homestead. I am thinking of going to Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse in the Golden Nugget this time. Online reviews are mixed some absolutely loved it some did not care for it.
    Anyone here ever been there? What did you think? Any other suggestions. There Probably will be eight of us. All guys so we do not want some "romantic" restaurant.

    I was told by a regular at The Golden Nugget who I know to eat at some nice restaurants across the country told me it was the worst steakhouse in the city.

    Thanks Ron.. I conveyed the message but the guys said since we are staying there they want to eat there. I will let you know how it was after the golf trip.

    Although the golf part may be cancelled as next weeks long range indicate lightening and heavy rain on my golf day.

    We have eaten there. I thought the steaks were pretty good, but some people did not like other food they ordered.

    Sometimes the music is awful, and the restaurant can be very noisy.

    We always ask for a table in the far back, and then we ask the manager to lower the music so we can talk. Apparently, the GN in Vegas has more amenable music, but for some reason, the owner in AC has changed it.
