The Trampoline

Spread the love

I have a casino I like to play in. Everything suites me just fine but occasionally there is one table where one of my dice will bounce straight up and off the table. Most times the landing and the bounce are totally normal and I do make money at that table. What could cause such a trampoline bounce? Is the fabric different in different areas? Also, would you change your throw in any way to accomplish that?

Check your grip. Both dice are not landing at the same time.

I also think that sometimes some tables need to be recovered because there might be dead or lively spots on them. The dice die on the dead spots but bounce like mad on the lively spots. The undercushing could be off. However, NFF is probably right about the dice landing unevenly.
