I’m caught in the middle here.
Alan G was given a subscription to our private site and he is also an advertiser on our main free site. However, as over 20 of you emailed me to complain about the advertisement of his business on our private site I took a look, sure enough there was an ad and references to an ad and his website, and so I emailed him to ask him to take out the advertising portion of his post. I figured he’d leave the post. It was his choice to take the entire post down.
I thought his post was interesting and as always CIII and Chuckman and others were ready to analyze and go back and forth with Alan over his ideas.
I guess Alan decided to remove his entire post and then put up a headline "The Complete Bullshit." Then CIII thought he was being attacked when his posts disappeared (I have no idea why CIII’s disappeared maybe they went down when Alan G took his down?)
Okay, now I have taken down the whole thread because it makes no sense without the original post and I am not a fan of headlines with strong words and no post.
CIII, I’m not taking you down…you’re too big for me…so really this is just a glich in our policy to avoid advertising on the private portion of our site.
I hope those of you involved in the "incident" will understand the situation and not flame any flames…if there are any flames to fan.

Oh great, I’ve developed a reputation in 8 posts.
Where’s my matches? Where’s my Zippo? Where’s my charcoal grill?
Oh never mind.
Wait. Does having my post removed count as a rejection from a publisher? Watch out Frank. I’m gaining on you in the rejection race.
