Well it was an interesting trip to say the least, the dealers in Laughlin are so much friendlier than Vegas but that is later.

Well it started out with a phone call to Finisher because he was going to be in Vegas but only for one day then he was heading back to Laughlin so talked to the wife and booked rooms.

We departed Sunday morning and as luck would have it we missed our first turn off and ended up in Boulder City a 15 minute delay, oh well no biggy back on our way, hit Searchlight stopped at McDonalds hell no it took us 15 minutes to get up to the drive through window after ordering and there was only 3 cars in front of us, we get there i say you know it is way out of line 15 minutes to do three cars and the kid goes "so what,i am 17 and you are in the middle of no where" i go get the manager.

The manager had same attitude only meaner so I say don not worry about it as i pick up my phone I find a number on the window and go i will take it up with the number here on the glass she leaves the kid comes back hands us our food and stops never asking for money i go you want me to pay he hesitates and says yes surprised that i asked, now they had a big rush and that is why the food was so slow but it was no reason to be mean to me i say no matter how mean you guys where to me i had the choice to do the right thing and not dirve off i offerd to pay with a smile i said you always have the choice to make the right descion and treat people how you want to be treated.

Now our luck did not change i missed the next turnoff just out of searchlight and never realized it till i saw the sign that said needles 23 miles the only reason i saw it was because we had just sat waiting on a 98 car slow train man this is not the start i was looking for.

After all my mistakes my wife makes lemonade out of the lemons by saying look at it like this we get to go over all the woop d do’s on the river front road, this road is like a roller coaster ride in a car, and just for effect i added a little gas to the power train, just so our stomachs would feel the bumps ya buddy up and down, and up and down, an around, and up, and on and on.

We arrive 265 miles later on a trip that is 140,

We go to check in our room wont be ready till 4:30 that is an hour and a half, so it is off to look at the to restuarants that finisher recomended we chose outback called him said how about 730 for dinner he called back said i made the reservation, okay an hour to kill till the room is ready 4 hours to kill till dinner so i went out scouting, the entire town but two joints are 14 footers.

On the scouting mission i lost a little thanks to come betting and learned alot, now i am preped for the rest of the trip.

Back to the room get ready off to the outback oh what a great time we had our waiter was the bomb he forget the straws says sorry i say if that is all that goes bad you rock he promises it will be we all start to laff with him, he takes our order brings us a bloomin onion and it is on the conversation with finisher and his wife is great we are laffing and joking and in no time our food is up, i cut into my extra rare steak and it is almost well fininshers steak which he is splitting with his wife is to be well and it is you got it rare, our waiter feels so bad we are laffing they fix the steak issue with lots of appologies and free crab cakes which they asked how where they and we said they sucked you should of seen the kids face we said no biggie he said they are new i do not recomend them to anyone they where terrible.

Now dinner from hear on out was perfect the company food right on what a night.

Dinner is over we head for the tables first stop dice look good just can’t get a break end up down a little due to the tens and fours finisher threw thank god for team play,lmao.

Now we go and find the girls go to the first place on the road i start throwing hardways but can not get a break end up losing again i know you still gotta get lucky when you are on, we go and find the girls again they are playing video poker laffing it up and having a great time we sit down and join in the fun we leave shortly there after only because it is 12 am.

We get back to our room i gotta a sweet tooth, now those of you who play with me know this is the norm for me at night so i go down to the resturant order a stuffed chocolate eclair, they tell me 10 so you no where i am off to and my spot is open, i guess i have calmed down and the bounce is all mine this time parlayed hardways abound for the dealers and numbers for me i shoot one hand about 15 minutes. I was the only one at the table though when it was over the dealers where in love with me my rack had black and i was up for the trip, went picked up the shake and eclair oh yea i ordered a choclate shake to follow the eclaire headed to the room for the night bank roll in check on the plus side.

Day two got up went down to play had a nice hand again left after one hand i was ahead why not the wife wanted to go shopping, and doing what she wants makes it easier to go on these trips, so it is off to the discount mall oh baby.

We went to numerous store looking for thongs aka sandals, shirts,and shorts we scored at one store i found 5 different polo shirts in a 3x size all differnet prints for 37 bucks ya buddy, now the funny thing about this when i went looking for the shirts later that night to wear out they were no where to be found we left the store with out them lmao when we went back the next day they still had the bag and rembered us all was cool, pam found many nice blouses and shorts at a great price so it is off to the hotel to you guessed it hang out at the pool, yes i do more than throw the bones.

We spent a couple of hours at the pool showered and headed to the buffet it was average nothing fancy but good quality on everything but the fruit it sucked.

After dinner we caught up with our friends and headed to the tables did not stay long to many people in and out could not keep the focus and i found out that my partner had spent to many hours playng already his ankles are swolen so big you could not see them, people if you play to long you are wasting your time ask my playing partner we never stayed more than an hour at any given time except when he went out on his own, i feel for those of you who have to play so long that you can not win, learn your limits do not get tired you are screwed if you do.

So my partner can not hang out even if we just sit around and relax waiting for the table to calm down because he has beat his body up to much and misses the roll of the day,it got me up and ahead for the day so i went to bed.

Final day we get up partner is at the table but it is full then y spot opens up shot a hand and leave i am down to many people at the table and i never collected on anyone but me my bad do not bet the randies only there to make money on me.

Go to the store to get clothes that we left, stop at the short table place kill it leave way ahead crew made 126 on the hard 10 i came out heathly and they said nothing how could they i hit the wall and tipped the crew, as i was walking away several dealers said please come back i said thanks, colored up, got water, peed and hit the road. with more in my ;pocket than i went with.

Well i made money hung out with great people and was smart enuff not to stop at mcdonalds instead it was in and out on the way home oh so good.
