I have a friend of mine that worked for the postal system as a rural carrier.

Now mind you he was a hard worker. it took work to get sick only on mondays
or winter days when we had snow or ice. He always managed to just get sick the
number of sick days provided. He also had to work very hard at this until he was
55.

One day in a local bar/restaurant all the guys were sitting there, and one asked how he
managed to retire so young and he indicated all you have to do is work hard
and save your money….

the laughter was stunning…..he knew in an instant that all that really knew him
understood what kind of "government worker " he was.

The federal government has become a prime employer for the lazy and those that could not get
hired by anyone else.

On my trip a couple of weeks ago i watched in disbelief as TSA agent made my 93 your old aunt get out of her wheel
chair and walk through the screener in significant pain……

The TSA agent stood there demanding this be done… no thought, no reason, pissed at the world
because this is the only job he can get.
