I have a quick question. I am getting a throwing and receiving station. I was courious is to how far apart they should be if i normaly shoot on 14 ft table SL1 and SL2. Also, what would be the correct way to measure from what point to what point etc.

Thanks

8.5′ to 10′ will cover positions 1&2 on a 14′ table. Middle of throwing station to back wall of the receiving station.

Stephen C has the right idea. Here how I used to do mine before I got a craps table. Maybe it will help you.

12 foot table—144 inches (12×12)
middle of the stickman(middle of the table) equals 72 inches
Add 18 inches to get 108 inches and this is good for SL (SR) 1
Add another 15 to 18 inches for SL (SR) 2

14 foot table —168 inches (12 x14)
middle of stickman 84 inches
add 18 inches for the stickman to get 108 inches for SL (SR) 1
add 15 to 18 inches to this for SL(SR) 2

You should be good to go.

Here is an idea> Assuming you are right handed and you practice with someone who is left handed, or you want to practice from the SR position, duplicate the arm rest and mount this second arm rest permanently on the opposite side of the throwing station so that you aren’t always having to move the table around when the other person is throwing or you want to throw from SR. The beautiful Alligator Rose is a lefty and I am a righty. It really helps.

Hope these ideas help.
