Candidate Match Quiz

Spread the love

This is really interesting. Click on the link and take the test to see who you really like best as a presidential candidate based on policy positions (i.e., personality excluded). First slide the importance to you bar to the degree of what issues are most important and least important to you accordingly. Then answer the eleven questions asked of you to see who, by name, you prefer. I was amazed at my own selection for first choice. Not at all by my second and third choices. Try it. It doesn’t take much time and it’s fun.

I am not the least bit surprised by my results:

When I look at all the candidates including those that dropped out, I can see how they match up with my answers. I am not surprised by any of these results either. If you look at the colors you can see which issues you agree with the candidates and which ones you disagree with the candidates. Match up the issues with the colors. The candidates with the larger color bar agree with my answers of the same color. The thinner bars are the ones with which I disagree.

What a shock, I disagree with Obama on 10 of 11 issues. He and I agree on Gay Marriage and I don’t care about that issue anyhow.

Here’s another link along the same lines:

http://www.votesmart.org/voteeasy/

It includes the current Republicans, Democrat, Libertarian and Reform candidates.
