fire bet payoff

Can anyone explain the payoff for a six point fire bet win for Canadians playing in Canada? I am wondering about the 1000 to 1 payoff.

Thanks

Saw a fire bet (that I did not bet) that paid a little different. I did not write them down but it was something like this

Set and make 3 (yes 3) points and you get paid 5 to 1
Set and Make 4 points you get paid 10 to 1
Set and make 5 points you get paid 100 to 1
Set and make all 6 points you get paid 500 to 1

As I said don’t hold me to these numbers but they added the 3 for a win and reduced payoff on the 4 to 6 wins.

Looks like another bad bet to me.

CIII is correct in his calculations on the firebet.

Also for those that do not know the firebet. You do not have to toss the numbers in any particular order.

And ALL wininnings in any Casino in CANADA are NOT taxed.

CCRoller,

Canadian winnings are tax for US residents, just not for you.

CC Roller, am I right that gambling wins that you might win south of the border are still not taxable for you in Canada?

You are correct. But if I (Or any other non American) wins over $1200 on shots, we receive an IRA slip after deductions for Fed (30 percent) and State Taxes. Now you can get part of that back due to a Canadian/USA tax treaty see casinotaxrebate.com .

Q Has any one out there really bet the FIRE BET. By this I mean just a pass line bet with no odds and 10 on the fire with no other bets till you win .Your risk is only 15 till you hit one point then goes down from there. The worries should subside after the 3rd point hopefully. Now who is willing to try this on for size ?
Good Rolling.

Finisher,

I like the other approach better, bet minimum table limits, max odds and you’ll make good money every time you make six different points.

I think the max in Canadian casinos is $5 on the fire bet.

Yes the most I have seen in Canada (and you know where) is $5, But I saw a $10 Max last Jan in Vegas on the strip. E-mail offsite and I will give you the names if you need.

Most casinos in Vegas have a max of 10 if they offer the fire. Most of them are the 4,5,6 payouts but there are a couple that pay for three numbers

I know I have seen it before but can’t remember true odds against making the fire bet. 3,4,5 and 6 numbers please.
