Craps

Back to Basics…Again.

Spread the love

Finally it looks like I will get some playing time. Stations set up in home office, and practice again. Not as bad as I thought it would be. As usual shot seems too hard. On old board there was a post using a rod to cross over the sides of rec. station. I didn’t write this stuff down naturally. Distance from bw and heighth from top of table is needed.

I started with pvc plastic cap as target, then smaller cap. Now use a small round (punched out) pc. of paper as target. No recorded SRR, only reaction of dice. I have a marked off area in front of the back wall that I try to have the dice stop. Need softer throw, and I think the rod would help. As Randman said during the refresher, " just drop it over the top.."

It is nice to have a place to go for encouragement, and good critical replys. This being a Dad again is really an ALL comsuming job. Wow.

Shoot with passion…and make room for me at the table!

Once again you guys came through. That is the exact post I wanted. Thanks.

Two basketball games tomorrow with my 10yr old in an old stinky elementary school gym. A little bit of heaven.

From one who CRS, thank you and good night.

If the dice are to hard then there is a chance that you are opening up your hand and not lettng the dice pull out on there own!!

Bman, I think I may also be releasing my thumb, then letting dice roll off tips…maybe? This is why I needed the darn elite video in Oct last year.

Right now the dowel rod across my rec. station is helping.

Thanks,
DavidM

Remember that if you are not feeling the dice pull off of your thumb before they roll out of your hand they will have a much larger amount of energy to deal with.

Bman, [b]YEP! It is amazing…before I had to take a break from playing, I felt I was razor sharp. Time away from practice certainly lets you know how fragile our capabilities are.
I did miss practice, but mainly I missed interaction with this group.

Thanks for the help bman.

I found out my wife has a secret trip planned for my birthday. I need to be ready. FOUR days somewhere.

Acting surprised, and getting ready to play!
