In the old forum, you were able to inject just about any HTML into your posts, and it would be displayed "as is" in the topic. This in general, is a very bad idea, as it is a perfect source for hackers to inject viruses and malware into a post at the forum. Our new forum software, phpBB, automatically removes any added HTML in a post, and displays it as plain text.

As an alternative, there are a number of special replacement ‘bbcodes’ you can use in your post content instead. See this link for details:

Also, there are some buttons along the top of the post editor you can use as shortcuts to format and inject these BBCodes into your posts.

One set of BBCodes not listed as buttons are table tags, for creating simple HTML-like tables. We have added support for simple tables, so see the link above for the table tag BBCode replacements.
