We'll call a no-roll if you miss the back wall

In our trip last week with the Five Horsemen, I mentioned that the Casino Manager was going bonkers over the idea that we might miss the back wall. Except for Stickman who missed about four hundred back walls in a row, until that time we hadn’t missed it.

That evening the floorman reiterated this back wall thing and said if even one die misses the back wall it will count as a "no roll."

I said to him, "Fine. But if the number is a seven that won’t count either will it?" He turned beet red and then said that one or two misses that look as if the shooter is not trying to miss the back wall will not result in a "no roll."

So if you are told that if your die or dice miss the back wall and it will be a "no roll," let them know you expect this to apply to the seven.

Usually that works.

I feel sorry for the casino people because we aren’t trying to miss the back wall.
