Hello. I am SectionEight’s wife. I don’t have a nickname so Mrs. Eight will do here and he says to call him SE to save time. I wanted to share what he did this weekend for me. He also wanted me to write about his game play. We were going to only stay in Las Vegas for the holiday and to see Sting at Caesars. He told me on Monday to take off an extra day so I did.

Friday landed in Las Vegas at noon. There was a man with a sign and our last name on it waiting for us at baggage carousel. SE told me he was our driver. I didn’t know he got us a driver, but the man got our bags and showed us to a very long limo. We took pictures on the way to the hotel. I tried to get him to tell me when he did this and he only said it was several weeks.

We checked into the hotel and I noticed the people knew who SE was and his host came out to talk to us. We found our way to our room, which was on the end of the building. We opened the door to a large, almost semi oval room with a bar and dining area on one end and a large bedroom on the other end. There were two bathrooms and a very large bathroom area behind the master bedroom. I want one now. Just like that. We took a lot of pictures.

It was the largest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.

At 4pm he hurried me downstairs and we ended up at the spa. He told me we had a 4PM massage appointment just another part of the surprises he said he had. We spent over an hour getting these Swedish massages that made me feel like jelly. I could do that a couple times a day.

We played blackjack and I won $400 more than I started with. SE went down and up and ended up with the same he started with.
I went to play video poker and he played craps. He found me on a quarter machine that was doing ok. He said the craps game had too many people on it and he lost $50. Poor baby, I wanted him to get a good start on his game. He’s on the table at home every day. I just wanted him to do well.

My video poker game was up and down and finally I had a hand, only kept the Ace and was dealt the rest of a Royal Flush. We both jumped back. Later he told me he was looking for the bet size like a $1 or $2. It was only a 25 cent machine, but it was still $1000. I was so happy I won this because it was only the second Royal Flush I’ve ever had. SE was really happy for me too. I had my money without having to ask him for money. I gave him $400 anyway.

We went back to the room after this and he took out some wine from the refrigerator. We had a glass and celebrated. This was very romantic and we had a good start on the day.

At 6pm we went downstairs and a sedan picked us up and took us over to Caesars for the concert. The show didn’t start until 8pm so I played my machine that I like to play and he played video poker. We played separate for about an hour and I lost $200 in my machine. SE found me and showed me $400, so together we won $200. That’s the way I look at these wins and losses.

Our show let us in at 7:30pm. We met the ushers and security three times. We were on the floor and you had to get by each level of security by showing your tickets to each usher guarding the next level in. We went almost all the way to the stage. The usher showed us to our seats in the EE section. He got these tickets without me knowing where we’d be. We have never had floor seats in a concert. It was so close, and the upper seating looked so far and small. He was being amazing again.

The security person also was making sure we knew that photography and video was not allowed.

We took more pictures in those two and half hours than we ever took anywhere else. And so did everyone else. These smartphones and iPhones have everything, how can you stop them?

The Sting pictures turned out great. SE said he will post some on his SectionEight Facebook page so people can see them.
We went to the table games area and he played craps. He will explain that one.

SectionEight here. I am helping her with formatting and spell check. Just getting my wife to type something is…well, something. LOL

As most know, this place has several craps tables, some with some herculean table limits. We found a $25 game that had only three people on it and SL1 was open. I bought in and my wife just watched. In fact, she didn’t play a single game of craps on this trip.

Once I got the dice, I had a sense of comfort that really relaxed me. The table was very familiar as it was one that Rafter, Pit Boss, Boxcar Boris and I know very well. I focus on one place, and as my rolls increased, my focus on the place intensified, and the area where I was landing started to get smaller. I could tell this was a nice table and the start of a good roll. It was a decent roll, somewhere in the neighborhood of upper teens, but the 6,8, and 9 were just showing up like a bad habit. Nice!!

There was no heat at all, and the other players started rooting for the roll. The one guy on my end kept calling me the guy who knew what he was doing. He said he’d been watching people try to beat the table all week and we finally had someone that had a shot at it. I ended up making just over two times my buy in and we left after that.
The sedan picked us up at 11:30pm and took us back to the hotel. Ok back to Mrs. Eight.

We went back to the hotel and went to play blackjack again. I won $100 and he lost all of his. We played one of my favorite slots for $20 each and lost. We went to sleep for the night after that.

We got up at 9am and got a shower and began to get our bags together to leave at noon. We went down to play video poker and SE had some good hits. He had a couple Straight Flushes, Four Kings, and many Full Houses. He won $140 and was happy. I lost my $100 on a stingy game. I tried DDBP, DW, and JW.

We had breakfast and then checked out of the hotel to go to our next hotel.

This hotel and I have been told not to say the name but everyone knows it is my favorite hotel. We tried to check in early and it looked like it was not going to happen but she gave us the room. The girl also gave us a Line Pass. This will let you ahead of the line in all the restaurant lines and buffets. It helped when we went to the café and got to the front of a long line. It was valuable to have.

We went to our room and were immediately impressed. The room was smaller, but had three bathrooms, tall ceilings, and more furnishings. It was just classier and my favorite.

After we ate, SE said there was a good bank of video poker that we could play. He said it was the place where he and Dominator’s wife played. These are $1, $2, and $5 games. I won $400 and he lost $200, so we went to different machines. He hit a $2 max bet Straight Flush and won $500. We left after that to take a rest. I bought some candles in their shop and some shirts for my son.

He told me we had reservations for the steakhouse. I thought he meant Bally’s Steakhouse since we know several people that work there and they have good food. He wanted to surprise me again and we ended up with Prime.

I was really surprised and liked the atmosphere, but we were really used to Bally’s. It was expensive too. I think the food is just as good or better at Bally’s. We went to blackjack and played on a $25 table. He went through $300 while I won almost the same. It was time to relax. We went upstairs and rented two movies and fell asleep on the couch.

The next morning, he left early to play craps. He was happy when he came back. He said he rolled five different times and had two really consistent sessions and made back what he lost on the video poker and the blackjack. We ordered room service and had breakfast early. We have a friend in Las Vegas that we see when we can. SE didn’t see her in October so we went to Olive Garden for lunch with her.

After lunch, we were so full we went back to the room and slept. SE got up and wanted to go get his Platinum card. He was really excited after he checked his iPhone application and saw that he just made Platinum. When he came back he said he played craps and could not win a single hand. I felt bad for him because I know it’s his game and puts a lot of time in practice.

We got up and I had a stomach ache. I told him to go down and play. He did and he said he already wrote about that on here somewhere. He met a student at the table and had a consistent roll in front of the student and had a better roll after he left. I know he put the purple chips on the tv stand so he did something better.

We did intend to get our favorite steaks at Bally’s but we were full still from the night before and Olive Garden. We watched another movie and I took a long soaking bath in the Jacuzzi tub. I think he was writing his story on his iPhone and sent it here. He was on it a long time and complained he couldn’t see the entire screen to edit.

Around 10pm we went back down and took a taxi to the place we stayed at on Friday. We played blackjack and I made another $200 and he won $130. This wasn’t his day. SE went to the craps table and I watched. There were more people on our side than the other and he liked that there was no one where he throws.

He threw several times and made a six and then an eight and then a six again and then seven. After this it was not good. He started and lost, twice. He was upset at losing, but he told me it was his throw. His throw was good; it just came up bad, both times. I felt bad for him, he tried so hard to make this a good trip for me and he did it. I wanted something good for him, to throw and win. I always tell him to win some for milk for the babies. It is our joke.

He is good with the money. I wanted him to try again or maybe put more money out there but he didn’t want to. He wanted to go back and go to sleep. He told me on our way to the hotel that I described the Martingale betting and said it didn’t work. People will lose their money and end up trying to bet more to cover the loss, and keep going through this. It is bad in the end.

The next morning was Monday. He counted the money and figured we had the trip paid for plus extra. The first place ended up not costing anything due to comp and we had this suite for a comp and then casino rate on the second night. He called it RFB and explained the Room, Food, and Beverage to me. We had to talk to the host on that and she gave us the FB part.

I’m sure I have left something out, but I do remember this. On our way out with our bags I saw my favorite machine. I wanted to play one more time. I put $20 in the machine and it took me almost all the way down when the thing hit one column, it froze and went to another column, then another. I got all the columns except for 2 squares. It started to pay and we thought it would keep going. I won $385 on $20!

I saw another game I love to play and SE said for us to go and he’ll watch. I put $20 in and he sat next to me and put $20 in the game in front of him. I turned my $20 into $205 and he turned his into $180. We added another $700.

I know he will want to play with his friends so he can take advantage of his routine, but he made my Thanksgiving weekend with the nice rooms, luxury, and treatment something to be thankful for. It was very much appreciated.

Thank you for reading.
Bye
