Another Good Time in Las Vegas

Spread the love

Took it easy on this trip with the wife. Returned to the two locations I visited in January where I made money and was surprised by an afternoon of play and lunch with the same professionally welcoming dealer crews at the first stop.

The other casino seems to have swapped out the tables for higher sides. Did not follow five count rule and dropped two hundred right off. I was on tippy toes and I am at least 5’11”. Will return with a shoe box next time and seek my revenge. Can’t believe they did it . Maybe it was the two fifty-minute rolls on my last visit that shook them up.

Visited W. Flamingo location for first time and found table very playable late afternoon.

Watched a player at another location piss off the box by bending over and shaking the dice to his ear for about a minute or two every time and toss them calling out the number. Amazing how he hit the point maybe four times. I thought the box was going fly out of her seat. Very funny.

I used one (1) hard-way set the whole time. Also used hard-way shooting from the end without backspin at one table. Having started my career from the end, I couldn’t resist. Did really well.

Have you ever noticed how hard it is to walk past a table when you are trying to head for your room to sleep?

Good job! I have a trip booked for late July to Vegas. I usually play downtown. Can hardly wait to strike since the seminar. May have a tunica trip between now and then also. 🙂

Cottom Lob,

Should encounter high tables, something to stand on can be helpful. GTC actually has a 3 inch box that may help. It has a nice handle so easy to carry in. One caution, some things the pit boss will not let you use it, not because you are doing anything wrong, but should you lose your balance and hurt yourself, they are afraid of liability. If that happens simple don’t use or more to another friendly casino.

Cautions you about throwing from the end as the long term success may not be all that successful. Remember in baseball the pitcher does not pitch from second base or center field. So closer is better for your long run success.

Looks like you did use a lot of the concepts we teach in the class. Keep up the good work.

Hope to see you soon.

So, did you win the All-Tall-Small bet for both times of the two long rolls?

Iuse to go to a casino ALL the time like 30 yrs till they changed tables . I NO longer can reach come bets at it they lost me . I have been back several times but have not played craps just to see if they went to a lower table . But I am only 5 ft 4 so that does make a bigger thing to deal with . Some on this site were shoes that bring them up .
Good Rolling. 😀 🙂

Ahhh Cotton Lob – I see that I didn’t make my point strong enough about coming to class on Saturday and walking in as a gambler, and I hoped that everyone would walk out on Sunday as an advantage player. Shooting from the end – I guess my little lecture about never going into battle shooting from a position that you haven’t practiced and know you have an edge from that position. You made some money there – well remember that a blind squirrel will find an acorn every now and then. Not using the 5-count – well you see what happened.

Now I don’t mean to come down on you and I so appreciate you writing a trip report so honestly. It helps everyone.

I hope that all that read this will try to do their best to beat the gambler in them that we all have.
