Experienced this last week on a Cruise Ship: Shooting with a new dealer working my end of the table. Point established, bets placed across. First toss hits a box number, play stopped so the table supervisor can explain the pay out to the new dealer, I’m standing there waiting for the dice to be returned, there were three payouts of various amounts. It seemed like two minutes later I get the dice and another box number hit, same routine as previously described, there was no apology from the supervisor for the delay. Several minutes later the dice are passed to me and the point hit. Upon receiving the payout I took my bets down including the dealer bets and told them the pace of play was unacceptable. I had been playing with the more experienced dealers over a week and they understood. What were we taught about any interruption of a shooter, "turn your bets off", In this case quietly leaving the table was in order. TheUsualSuspect, Semper Fi carry on

We do have some feelings for the new inexperienced dealer. He had to learn some time.

It seems perhaps your situation was worse and another tax, at least at first was definitely warranted. Nice move.

Some things I recently witnessed;
2 guys started to give lessons to their girlfriends while using their hands pointing to the numbers ON the table with the dice in the air!
Multiple stacks of money plopping down at the opposite end of the table WHILE I swinging my arm back.
Arms, fingers, drinks, hanging over the rail.
Waiters tapping me on the shoulder to sign for a drink.
Opposite end dealer knocking a tall stack of chips over as the dice were settling.
LATE BETTERS all the time. moving like the Flash on the opposite end.
Very little correction to bad players unless I told them to say something.
Tipping helps.
I am getting used to the distractions, had some big wins.
