401G

Spread the love

Well I have not got one yet . But am thinking of starting to build one .
I just throw all my change into a jar most of the time and play with that and what I think WE can afford to loose . It has worked for some 35 yrs. that way but have NO idea how much WE are behind or ahead .
We just came back from casino with winning to royals so this could be a better start then I thought .
I will let you know if it grows or not since are next trip is this Fri. We are RFB players at the casino that we are going to so that will Help . Cost for gas is about 25.00 and lunch on way there . Some times we don’t stop for lunch tho . It depends on time we leave . It is a 3 to 3 1/2 hr drive .
Our last trip was a break even trip .

I am so happy this morning reading that one of long time students is FINALLY going to put together a 401G account. You will not regret it Finisher.

Playing with dedicated money will have a big difference in your game. And man, you have never kept records? Keeping records is so very important.

I know from our conversations that you are a small player – nothing wrong with that – But as you see your BR grow you will begin to bet a little more and the BR will grow.

I hope everyone on this site reads this post!

Good Luck Finisher. If I might make a suggestion that will make tracking your success at the tables a bit easier. Lady Luck and I use our 401g exclusively for our playing bankroll. Room, meals, travel, and all non-play activities do not come from our 401g. That way, we can see at a glance whether our account is growing of shrinking and know that whatever direction it is trending, it is strictly due to our "gambling" activities and not our social ones.

Let us know how you do.

JawBones thanks for the advise .We will do that since we have not payed for our rooms at any casino for the last 45 years how time flies by . Had to think on long ago it was that we paid for a room . We were lucky that my father in law was comped all the time in years past .Like the 70s and 80s . It is getting harder to get comped tho .
I think the wife thinks it is a good idea .
