    So, in the meantime, you should pick your nose and watch the shooter make the 5 count? Wow! I thought I’ve seen and heard it all. But, this takes the cake. I say just stay the HELL home and watch TV. Why even bother going to the Casino if you’re going to just count? This makes no FREAKING sense to me. Why not just play Black jack and count the cards? Thanks for making me laugh! Enjoy your counting! Ha ha ! 😉

    :)))) thanks for making me laugh this morning! What everyone needs when they are playing craps is a way to eliminate shooters so that you don’t risk your money on every shooter. How many times have you played craps and by the time the dice came to you – you were out of money because you bet on everyone. The 5-count will eliminate 57% of the shooters at the table – proven by over 500 billion simulated throws – the documentation is on my site – so your money is only at risk 43% of the time. And all you have missed is 5 throws from a shooter if you are lucky enough to be at a table where someone holds the dice for awhile. If you want to bet on everyone because you need the action – go right ahead. Me – well I want to win and protect my money and throw the dice with money in my rack from my buy-in

    That is a great exchange and clearly initiated by a "gambler" and not an advantaged player. What strikes me, though, is how the uninformed are so quick to condemn a technique without taking the time to at least do a superficial investigation into the merits of the technique. Perhaps it is a capsule review of much that is wrong in our world today but that individual attempted to destroy an idea that he knows nothing about.

    I hope (not really) that he has a substantial 401g because he is going to need it.

    As for me, I can testify to the strength of the 5-count and it’s effectiveness in casino play. Not the greatest for getting a good rating by the pitstaff but, for what it’s worth, I am there to make money whenever possible and not get a rating. In the long run, it is cheaper to simply pay for your room and meals if you have to and avoid the completely random shooters.

    As they say common sense isn’t common, to just dismiss the five count is laughable, with just my brief experience using it I am sold on it.

    I’m with Skinny. You can’t fix stupid. But this is also the guy that buys in three times at the table waiting for the dice to get to him because he doesn’t want to "just stand and count" while you stand there doing the 5 count on every shooter with racks of chips left when the dice come to you.

    As Don often says, you can’t take the stupid out of a true gambler who plays simply for the action. We also say we need these guys/girls at the table to take the heat off of us. After all we want to win the money these gamblers lose to the casino.

    On the occasions that I am at a table with a rash of quick 7-outs, I’m doing the 5-count and most others just stand there tired of losing there money, and the dealer says we need to bet something to keep our spot, I will make a minimum pass line bet with $1 dealer tip with no odds. I then make no other bets and no odds until after the 5 count. I’ve never had a complaint after that. I’m pretty sure it’s the dealer tip that solves the problem.

    The ONE dollar bet goes a long way .
    I have changed my way of betting for dealers . I now put up a 6.00 .PASS LINE WHEN ROLLING and when get win slide one dollar over for dealer . Not taking one out of rack . I then add to it when get another win for odds .till max.
    This seems to get them into the game more and many Thanks even if there is no win .
    I seldom bet on others . Tho do bet one place bet or one come bet . May even do both and stay at that bet till both win at times .I think that it is better to loose on my roll then on others .
    I do STAY to LONG at table when I do get to play on real craps table .I am working on that problem . Even tho I can say for the 30 or 40 years that I have been playing have Never paid for a room .Some meals but never a room . Have to many offers to use .

    You would be better off not staying too long at the tables even if you had to pay for the room.

    In the long run you would have more money.

    Skinny you are some what right about the staying tooooo long at the tables . It does not get me a room at ALL period . My action is so little that they would not miss it .
    I bye in for 200.00 and that should last for at least 2 or 3 days of play which is about 16 to 20 hrs. Make some loose some . My legs do get a little tired at 69 tho . So this last trip I did not play as long as I use to .Did go up to room with wife and she took a little nap .I just rested feet . Had 6 sessions this trip with 3 that was a loss and 3 that won some . The wins were more then looses this time .
    This trip was better since I did not have to wait for position to open up . Just one time had to wait for about 30 min. Gave up trying to get any thing from crap play .You need to be a big better for that .

    Dom We took the class with Henry back in 2012 . You sent me an Email saying that I could get a refund since of what we had talked about before taking the class .I saved it so that if I ever get the wife to let me take a refresher I would hope that I could use it then . 😀
    I was glad that you made me the offer at that time .The E mail was sent Fri. 2/03/12 2;26 PM
    The craps class was great then and I hear from others that it has only gotten better since then . The wife is Italian and is hard to convince that I need a refresher . Just saying .

    Ya Dom I don’t know what is getting more worn my craps table our my body . By the way my friend that wrote the book I gave you is still talking to over 5,000 kids a year .He is going on 92 soon and some times looks better then me .I
    just cant see standing and talking to kids for 6 hrs. a day .
