Shreveport Seminar

Spread the love

Hi All

I just want to say that the students that attended this past 207 Shreveport seminar were so responsive and wanted to learn.

We even had a student Gary W that had a 57 and then backed it up with a 50 hand roll on Sunday night.

Practice everyone and do what we said to do for 6 months – do it the GTC way and I know you will be a winning craps player!

It was a great seminar and I learned lots. I have my practice rig set up and have already started practicing. All the instructors were great!! Reading the books and watching the videos is good, but attending the seminar was even better. It put all of it together for me.

That Sunday night roll Gary, my teammate on the Goodtime Rollers, made was a money maker for me. Gary was on Stick Left (SL) 1, and his son was at SL 2. I was on SR 1. Gary’s roll was a pleasure to watch and bet. Tuesday night I hit the $10 Small, and was 1 away, the 11, from the tall before 7 out.

The Shreveport GTC Seminar (Class) was eye opening! The grip and throw analysis from Dom and the instructors gave me a full suite of correction points customized to my fingers, hand, arm, height, and body. Each team of 3 students spent 20 minutes with each instructor, rotating from station to station. The instructor at each station observed each student’s grip, body position, arm and shoulder movement, and head position in action, giving sometimes large corrections and sometimes minute corrections. Dom walked around station to station, stopping to look closely at grips. Dom would grab your hand, moving it up, down, around, pointing out misplaced finger positions. It was an intense and comprehensive training. And SO effective. My grip, throw, and accuracy is now amazing.

And, when my dice landed wrong, or moved through the air at uneven height, or with insufficient rotation, or go short or long, I now know exactly what causes the problem and how to correct it.

Just this Tuesday night at the casino, toward the end, my dice were not flying parallel to each other. I woke up Wednesday morning, and remembered what Dom showed me when that happened to me during the training. Before we checked out of the casino hotel, I went back to the Craps table, made the small adjustment Dom had given me, and, zoom, my dice flew perfectly through the air. My wife was impressed, too.

From my winnings Saturday night, I bought my GTC throwing and receiving stations. Back at home, I’ve set them up and I am using them to keep me ready for my trip to MGM casino in Wash., DC, this weekend.

My thanks to Dom and all of the instructors for the Shreveport seminar. All I can say is: WOW!

That Wednesday morning, when my wife saw me throw, she said, "Wow, you’re actually good!" But, I still don’t understand why she was surprised.
