Well I returned from my trip to Vegas as a loser for the entire trip. I was in Vegas from about 2:30 Friday until Tuesday morning. Uneventful drive from Los Angeles but with more traffic than what we usually see when we go over on a Sunday morning.
Stayed at Gold Coast on their promotion where I got $40 in chips for four hours of play and Sally got $20 for her four hours of play. We were expected to move Orleans for Sunday/Monday night but they comped me two more nights when I asked on Sunday afternoon so we didn’t have to relocate.
Summary of the trip showed me a loser but I actually was ahead less than a hundred on my own rolls even though my SRR was only 5.88 on my own rolls. I rolled 97 times over the entire period. I like to play at a lightly populated table and will go to a completely empty table if one is available. But still played on rolls where the other people qualified. I.E. There were several CFers that I never bet on.
Played at six off strip casinos Gold Coast, Rio, Palms, Arizonia Charley, and the M. Went to the Strip Sunday morning and played at two Ceasers properties. Since I am Platinum I didn’t have to pay for parking. The line getting out of the parking wasn’t very long but several people had problems with their ticket and it probably took 20 minutes to get out of the parking at Harrahs.
Some other summary details. 11 of my rolls were point seven rolls and another 13 of them were three, 8 were 4, 4 were 5, and 10 were 6. So 46 of my rolls were no better than random. Twenty two of the rolls were between 7 and 9 so 70% of my rolls were single digit. Another 23 were 11-19. Five were in the 20s and the longest roll was 37. This is the first time in several years that my trip to the casinos resulted in a SRR of less than 6.
Detail of my play at various Casinos will follow but I thought I’d get this summary posted. Oh and no Royals for Sally at video poker this trip

Next 4 rolls were all losers and I was down a third of my buy in and time to drive on to where we were staying. Not a good start.
Had no problem with check in and after getting my stuff to the room there was a table with one person at SO so I bought in at SR1. Had a roll of 7 that I lost on, followed by another roll of seven that I was a bigger loser on. I was placing 6/8 if they weren’t the point and making continuous come bets. Then I had a roll of 11 with me making my first point which was a 10. I rolled 4 9s in this mix which was nice with come betting and increasing the odds as each number repeated. That would have been a winner on the nine repeater but I wasn’t betting the repeater. One other person had joined me and he had $1 on all the repeaters.
My best roll so far this trip was next with a roll of 21 and I was now in a plus position at this casino. Followed up with a roll of 6 making one point and loss less than table minimum of $5. Next roll was only 4, but I had switched from come betting to 6/8 placing and regressing after two hits so I was only a small loser on this roll.
Had rolls of 4 and 6 which were both losers. Followed up with a roll of 7 which was a loser and then a roll of 11 which i was a small winner due to rolling 4 9s while come betting and small presses as well as making a point of 10..Then had rolls of 11, 4 and 4 all of which were losers. Then had a winner of 12 , a PSO and a rolls of 4 and 6 which were small winners. Then rolls of 3, 6, 3, and 8 for losers and decided to call it a night
This wrapped it up, for Friday I had thrown the dice 10 times for 201 rolls and was down half of one of my normal buy in of $300 and I called it quits.

There was space at the table when I came down in the morning and I started out as a loser with a craps and followed that with a come out on the 4. Never made the 4 but had enough hits on the 6/8 that I was absolutely even by the time the seven showed.
Next comeout was the four again followed by a seven out. Ouch.
Next roll was a comeout 8 and I was come betting and had a roll of 9 with three 9s, and one 8 and I won a double digit amount. Followed with a roll of twenty that was a lot of garbage and I lost money on it. Then had rolls of 10, 8, and 2 which also were losers. Finally had a roll of 15 that was a winner but then a roll of 7, 6, 8, t which was another loser and I took a break, down more than I had lost on Friday, almost half of my normal buyin. There were two others at the table by the time I took my break but I was slightly ahead on them that quailed for me to bet on them.
After getting some breakfast, I returned and had a roll of 14 that about half of my previous losses Saturday. I rolled two more times with rolls o 9 and 6 and gave back $5 of my earlier win.
Sally had heard that another off strip casino had good VP and we went to check it out.at this casino north of downtown on Decature. They had one craps table and it was empty when I bough in. Before I got my chips someone else bought in on the opposite side and they got the dice first. I didn’y make a fuss about that sine I could watch the bounce without any money at risk.. They had a roll of 9 that I made a small amount on and someone else had bought in before I got the dice and had a roll of 20 and I was up before I first got the dice. I had rolls of 14, 5, 13, and 4. The table emptied out after the 20 by the chicken feeder. I left the table down in the teens. Sally said the VP she found was better than the Ceasers properties but not outstanding like she had been told it was.
Instead of going back to where we were staying we went to the Caseers across the street. They had a $5 table that was packed but I took a marker at the $10 table that only ha two others at it. I started off with a roll of 10 and gave most of my winnings back when the CFers quailed and I lost on both of them.
I had other rolls of 7, 21, and 16 all of which were ince winners and didn’t have the CFers qualify so I kept my winnings. On the roll of 16, I had 4 8s and 3 6s so on a $10 table that adds up. I bought my marker back and was now in a positive position for this trip.
After eating lunch at the sports deli when back to where we were staying. Found an empty table and had a come out 10 and made it back after two rolls. Had a CO 57 and then a 5 but sevened out without any 6/8 two rolls later. CFer at the other end then had a roll of 26 making one point but rolled eight 8s and three that I made almost $200 on. Next CFer had a point seven that I wasn’t on and since the table was almost full and an empty table was across the pit I moved to the empty table. Had a roll of 16 and made $10 but this table was now fairly full and I cashed out up almost 2/3rd of my buy in.
Took a break and later came back and checked in at a lightly filled table with the dice one shooter away from me. Had a roll of 16 and made a low double digit amount. CFer followed with a roll of 10 that I won a single digit amount on. Table had filled up and I took another break. Sally had found some VP with decent pay tables and I sat with her for a while.
Went back to an empty table and had a roll of 19 with four 6s and four 10s and three 8s so I was up high double digit amount. Three CFers qualified and I gave back some of my winnings on each of them. I had another roll of 21 and recover what I had loss but had one more roll point, craps, seven and called it a night up a low double digits for the night.

One table was open and there were three people but my spot was open so I bought in. Each of the shooter before me qualified for me to bet on them., but I lost a double digit amount on each of them. I came out with a point of 8 and hd a roll of 15 but never made my point. I did get four 6s and recovered half of my losses from the other shooters. The next shooter qualified and I made a come bet which I won on a seven out. Decided to call in quits and go to breakfast.
Drove to the strip and parked at Harrahs, since I have the TR Visa Card and have the Platinum level, I won’t have to pay for the parking. There were two tables open but both were packed.
Walked over next door and found a empty $5 table. First roll was 4, 8, and 7 and I was down a little. Three other shooter now and one qualified and I lost a little. My roll was 3, 2, 7, 7, 9, 3 and 7. So I lost again and am down over 1/3rd of my buyin. The other shooters are up and down and I recovered a little of my losses. My next roll was only 10 but I had an initial CO 7 and then a point of 8. Picked up a 6 and rolled three 5 and two $10s and I was down a quarter of my buyin. And called it quits.
Stopped next door at a $5 table. Loss money on the shooter before me and then rolled a point sever myself. Loss a little on other shooter and then had a roll of 5 myself and was down almost 2/3rd of my buy in. Time to quit.
Back to where we were staying. It took some time to get out of parking with people in front of me having trouble paying.
Took a marker rather than writing a check. Started out with an 8 and brought it right back and then followed with a point seven out. Down in the teens.
I was come betting and next roll was only six and I was down high double digits and took a break to visit with Sally.
Went back to the tables the tables with a roll of 13 that I made mid high double digit on even if I only made one point. Repeated some of my come bets. When I am come betting on a $5 table with3x4x5 odds, I will place the 6/8 for $12 each if they are not the point take double odds on the point and then make come bets with double odds. If I roll a 6/8 I will only take double odds and take the place bet down. Press the come odds on repeated 6/8 to 3 and then 5. On 5/9 start with$10 odds, then $16, and then $20. If come goes to 4/10, odds are $10 then $15. If I max out odds I will stay at max odds and then Place/buy the number in addition.
Followed the roll of 13 with rolls of 9 and 6 and I’ve losses greater than the previous win. Then another roll of 9 with only a single digit loss and I took another break without coloring up.
When I returned all the tables had players but one was less crowded and my spot was open and I started there while the dice were on the other side of the stick with the chips I still had. Without an additional buyin. Three shooter before I got the dice. First didn’t qualify but the second did and I made some with her roll of 20 and then lost single digit on the next roll of 8.
I started out with a six and rolled it back hard two rolls later. Then had two yos , a 3 craps and another yo, which made the people on the repeater bets happy. Finally set a point of 5. Took me 18 rolls to repeat that. Had 5 10s which added to the joy for the repeater bettors. Came out on the 5 again. Rolled the 5 right back for another repeater winner. CO twelve and then a 6 which I rolled right back. Came back out on the six which completed another repeater winner. Came back out on the 6 and couldn’t make it again after a total of 37 rolls, my only roll in the 30s this trip. As I said in another post one guy had $5 on each of the repeater and collected $2,250 off of my roll on them. I know he won at least 5 of the 10 repeater bets I was a triple digit winner on that roll. Funny part about the repeater wins, I had 10 come out rolls and was setting for the seven on them all but didn’t roll any CO 7s.
They still had my marker at the tables so I bought it back. I called it a night after that roll.

Some times it just takes too long to get the dice back with to much to loose .I have come back with the same roller rolling and then have come back to an empty table with all things in between .
This is getting easy for me the older I get tho . 😀 😀 😉

Started out at the nearby sister property near where I was staying. Rolled seven different times with an average roll of 10. Had 4 rolls of 3 or less and two double digits rolls. Was up a high double digit amount on my rolls but was down more than that on other shooters.
On the way back to where we were staying stopped at the casino across the street from where we were staying. Had been there earlier in the trip but with only one table open and it fairly full today is the first time I had tossed there on this trip. I usually play there often and the deals remember me and they did this trip also. They have a 50 play VP game that Sally likes to play and if I am taking a break from the table I will often play next to her, but only play five games not 50. I played VP briefly and won $10.
Only rolled 4 times when I went to the table there and had average rolls of 6 and lost $24 on my own rolls but lost $6 overall.
After we went back to where we were staying I took a break and watched Sally. Finally found a table and rolled 8 times, average roll was less than 6. I was down almost a hundred on my rolls and down the same amount on other shooters. I only had one roll in double digits and won point seven out as well as another point, craps, and seven out. The movement around the table was slow but my two very short rolls were back to back and I called it quits.
After some relaxing in the room and catching some supper, I decided to try again. To make a long story short, things weren’t much better. I eventually rolled 8 more times. Lost on four of then and won on four and was slightly positive on my own rolls. The others who met my criteria for betting on them still didn’t do much after I got on them so I was still down almost a hundred on this session at the table and I called it quits. Thought I might go back later but when I checked the tables wasn’t able to get my spot and the tables were busier than I thought they would be.
Thought I might throw in the morning before the drive back to Los Angeles, but the table was too filled up so we had breakfast and headed home. Uneventfully drive.
Trip was a loser on my rolls. Had an SRR of 5.93 and average throw of 7.49. Was a low triple digit loser on my rolls and twice my losses on betting on other shooters.
Next trip will hopefully be back to normal. Didn’t see anything on my rolls so I guess it was normal variance. Will probably go back in the summer.
